What are the effects of Tire Skidding on the car? Just the loss of tread?

Well if you flat spot your tires, you'll end up with ongoing bad vibrations that cannot be balanced out. If it's bad enough, the tires can be garbage.

kinda hard to explain.
here's an example. your on your bicycle, and your just flying. and for fun, you see how car you can skid.
now you look at the tire, and you notice that the part of the tire that was contacting the ground now has less tread than everywhere else.
that is caled a flatspot.

Are you talking about "squeeling" around a corner?
Assuming your tires aren't locked up, you'll "just" be wearing down the tread on your tires, just not necessarily evenly on all four tires...
