Water drainage

Not sure if this is normal or not so here goes:

After a bit of rain these past few days I have noticed that every time I open my driver's side door, a fair amount of water drips down from the bottom edge of the door. Upon further inspection I can see that the rubber seals have holes in them and when I press on these seals, more water comes out.

So far I have only noticed this problem on the driver's side front door.

It's probably supposed to work that way. One of the rust proofing techniques is to coat the inside of the doors since they act as water outlets.

Like when you roll down a window and some water gets dragged down, that's where it is supposed to come out.
