Use fan blower through the bulb hole, and is there warranty left? You could also look for a cheap headlight..

Nope no warranty left. its past 3 years. No other way besides a new headlight huh?

no the only way water could get in is if the headlight is cracked or seal is broken, you can blow dry it or drill a tiny hole in the bottom of the headlight

A buddy of mine does retrofits and uses something to seal the housing back together. I'll find out...maybe he can fix up the light for your Dad.

Are you comfortable in re- sealing it yourself?!?!? I only ask as it is not a hard process... just need to be patient. I've done it a few times as I use to have a Honda..... and Honda boys love to black house their headlights. Like I said, it's not a hard process, but you need to be patient.

I only offer this solution as I see that your warranty has already expired. If it didn't expire, I wouldn't have recommended this solution.

I guess I'd have to see the level of difficulty.

I don't see why not but, it IS a nissan, and if just changing bulbs on the taillights are of any indication, the lights will probably be pains to get off :P but..sure. I'll talk to my dad about it. if its nothing too difficult im sure he'd be up for it.
