Hey all,

I recently bought and installed a Clarion BLT370 bluetooth hands free adapter for my Clarion head unit.

I may have not installed it 100% correct, but when I turn off the car, and remove the key from the ignition, the device is still illuminated. Now i don't think it will harm the battery, as its only a few micro LED's, but I am wondering if anyone else has this unit, and if so, does their unit function the same way?

If its just a bad install, I can easily fix, but I don't see why it would still have power, because the power wire from the other device I connected it to turns off when the car is off

Thanks!

I have installed a few of these, I think there is a delay on the turn off switch. Have you gone in your car after a while and checked to see if it on? if it is I do beleive you might have hooked up the ignition wire to constant.

Yeah, It stays on all the time, I need to pull it out and find a new red wire, all the things I have read online say they are supposto go off after about 5 mins or so.

I don't think it would hurt anything, considering they are really small LED's and my compustar LED is on all the time anyway.
