I recently bought and installed an iPod integration kit from DICE.

The install was easy, a little disappointed by no text (but I knew that already).
The problem I'm having is that the sound quality is really "dumbed" down. The base isnt as punchy and treble isnt as crisp as when I play the same track from the CD player.
I disabled all the iPod sound correction things from iTunes so I am assuming it's not my iPod.
I got in touch with DICE support and they were sort of baffled about the problem, but the ebay buyer integration_solutions kindly decided to send me another unit.
Is anyone else running this setup? If so, did you find any deterioration in sound quality?
