Went to Holguin last year. I was the last civilian to exit the airport on my arrival. The *******s didnt wanna let me leave. They didnt like me too much I guess. I dont speak spanish aqnd they spoke MINIMUM english. And I was VERY polite with them. ******* cubans.

Nice place though. Food sucks but the water and beach are the nicest.

Hmm, I remember last year I was able to get 5 boxes across, but apparently now, So I heard, it's only one box per person. Since my mom has no interest in them, I already know my dad will have his set, Can't put it in my 12 year old sisters luggage :chuckle, Which means, I'm stuck! Dammit!

Nice! Have a great time :) I went to Europe for a 9 days for Canada Day week, just got back last night from a 4 day Chicago weekend (Lollapalooza!) and hopefully hitting Jamaica or DR for a week in January. Maybe Cuba in October if my bank account allows it lol.

Cuba's a lot of fun, but the sun is HOT. Worst sunburn of my life when I was down there. couldn't move for a day because I hurt too much.

I'm back! Man oh man, What an experience it was.

First couple of days, stayed on the beach, drank their beer. " Vereza Cristal ", walked around the town.

Friday - Went on the double decker bus, for a tour, my cousin was recording me the entire time, and surprisingly, she caught me getting wacked by a couple of palm tree's.


The food was crap. Hard peas, cold chicken, and bread.

I almost forgot, my hotel got torn apart, since I was stuck in the Hurricane. It was a crazy adventure getting to the airport, since there were palm tree's scattered all over the road, also, while arriving at the airport, the inside still had a large amount of water.



Brought back some Cohiba's, Monte Cristo's and Guantanemero's, Let alone bottles of rum, and Lucky Strike. =)

Ahhh Cuba. I think my experience with cuba is pretty much summed up in this embarassing photo:

And yes, I was completely smashed off my face. I think that was number 11 for the evening... and this was at about 10pm. Its better than corona, but very similar.
