Just a quick update for you:
Tiffany started with our Service Team on Monday. She's doing a fantastic job and we're definitely keeping her busy. If you need any help from her, give her a call. I'm sure she'd be happy to help. (By the way, she does read the forums on a regular basis).
Next week we're upgrading our computer systems so that we can be more efficient and more service oriented. Computerized technician dispatching and Electronic Repair Orders are a couple of components that will help us deliver a better experience to everybody.
I finalised the plans for our new building last week and we have submitted them to the Town of Oakville for final approval. We are striving to be into our new digs in the Spring. We have included a special hoist for lowered or modified vehicles (so we don't have to use an alignment rack).
Sorry I missed you all at MOTM, but I hope to get out to more events in the next few months.
We have some more positive changes on the way....Stay tuned :)
Thanks for all your support and positive feedback. Don't hesitate to call or email me if you need anything.

too bad its such a drive, maybe the first oil change will be on the house :chuckle
Nice. It will cut my drive for an oil change & service in 1/2. Can Tiffany take our files over so our records are at your dealership Jason so it isn't lost when the other place converts? I am sure it is just a file on a computer.

Looks like my I'm taking my business to Oakville Mazda in the future. One of the prime reasons I went to Mississauga Mazda at all is because Tiffany did such a great job and took care of her customers so well.
I agree. so many dealerships assume because i have a few mods on my car that it gets abused when that couldn't be further from the truth. i go where people know the car and know me.
looks like i will be taking both my mazdas over there now... wish it was closer but oh well.

Thanks for the update, Jason.:)
I am not sure, but I may end up taking both of my 3's here too.
If I do, I will be sure to say hi.:)

Unfortunately it's not as easy as "transferring them over". There are several different software solutions that dealerships use, so even though it may be a computer file, it may not be compatible. These Dealer Management Systems (DMS) do not allow the easy export or import of information either. And lastly, most dealers are not excited at their customers leaving, so getting copies of files is not terribly easy.
If there is a service or warranty related issue, we can definitely call over and get the information from the other dealer.
If you are planning on stopping by the store for service, or just to say "Hi", let me know ahead of time so I can make sure I'm around.
Thanks!
J
Jason,
that place depresses me - you are several years behind every major dealership in Oakville in terms of facilities/showroom
you need to get that place built ASAP :chuckle

bj,
We are moving as fast as the Town of Oakville will allow us. 9 months to go!! The shovels should start soon :) Then it's bigger, better, more parking, and brand-spanking new...

this is good - now you can catch up to where Oakville Nissan, Budds, Lexus, Oakville VW / Audi were 5 years ago

Excitement! I'm sad that the nearest good dealer to me is on yonge street. I'm in port credit, so a "quick" hop on the QEW and i'm there! :-)
