Powder Coated Wheels

So I had my rims Powder coated twice ..
now i wonder if i should use some sand paper to remove powder from inside part - center one the one that connects with hub


Allen said its not safe

So i guess i will sand it down just wonder how much should i take off ?

I would agree with Allen...and my mechanic actually took it off! as the back where it touches the hub began to peel after my first track event (not a good idea to track w/ powdercoated wheels, as mine BEGAN to bubble but it went away after the wheels cooled)...

You can use a razor blade to help you remove that part...I have told Quy to mask that part that touches the hub for future clients...
