I'm trying to get tickets at the gate from some random person. The moment the tickets went on sale, I was sitting at my computer trying to buy tickets the right way. I didn't even get a chance to select any because they were already sold out. I don't know whats going on; it's as if there were no tickets avail. to begin with!

I'm obsessed with this band. You're so lucky. How in the world did you score pit tickets? I bet you spent a lot of money on them.

I would try e-bay or kijiji.ca..... You might be able to pick up decent tickets at face-value from someone desperate to unload them.

I hate scalpers. Don't give someone in front of the venue your business. They prey on people that head to the concerts, because they know they can extort a higher price since the potential buyer's already taken the trouble to head down to the venue.

manage to snag 4 tickets off of ticketmaster, so a few buddies and myself are going. better than the $400 I paid for a pair last year

I live downtown so it's not too much of a bother for me to head to the venue. If I don't get in, I won't be devastated since we'll go for beer/food anyway. I'm hoping to buy from someone who is desperate to get rid of their tickets b/c they're not into the band. I don't want to deal w/ "professional" scalpers b/c they're crooked.
