Cracked Rim

I'm wondering if anyone has had experience with repairing a cracked rim. I found a set on of MSR rims and one is cracked. Anyone have an opinion?

Cracked is generally garbage. Bent can be repaired but I don't know if I'd trust a repaired cracked one.

some advise...don't buy them! Well unless you can get a smokeing deal and still by those wheels and buy one new one.

Cracked rims can be welded. Please contact Precision Rim Repair, they are located in the North end of Etobicoke, and you are looking at 180 + tax minimum. The price ranges depending on the extent of damage, as well as whether or not they need to resurface the rim or do cosmetic work on top of the repair duty. If you bring the wheel with tires, the wheel will be rebalanced and inflated again before you pick up for a duration of time, and the guys that work there are very nice and helpful, but the company is VERY busy. I do not suggest going to other places, as any other company that offers the same service but for cheaper has had a bad reputation across car enthusiast forums in Toronto.
