That looks nice.
Can't be cheap.
I wonder what Nav system it uses.

well its hard to tell from their website but from what people have managed to gather it would run around 1200 and there is no word on shipping

the LCD resolution is not good from the picture, it looks like 480*232.

Figures I just spent a grand on a new deck because I wanted in-dash GPS... then I see this.

So anyone read spanish (maybe portugese) to find out when this will be available in Canada?

Looks like it's only available in Spain as of Aug 1st ... I've emailed them in Madrid to see if the unit is compatible here etc ... I'll let you all know once i get a response maybe we can arrange a group buy or something ...

No response from them yet ... and I even wrote it in Spanish ! I wouldn't count on them shipping to Canada just yet ... seems like this company actually manufactures GPS systems for various applications and automobiles.

Finally got a reply ... they retail for $1000 Euros but they can't verify that it will work here in Canada .. I know that the GPS maps won't but $1000 Euros ... ouch !

OUCH is right. Just checked on xe.com...

1,000.00 EUR = 1,552.60 CAD
Euro Canada Dollars
1 EUR = 1.55260 CAD 1 CAD = 0.644081 EUR

Correct in that the maps by default wouldn't if all they had on was Europe maps, but adding new ones shouldn't normally be a huge issue. It would more be the cost of shipping...and the price is pretty steep.

Did you find out who the manufacturer is? Electronics are almost always more expensive in Europe...uh sorry EU!, the same unit, if it was ever sold here would almost definitely sell for less....I would pick one up for sure if it was a quality brand had the right features and set-up for North America....it looks awesome!
