another squeeky seat....

Well, I had to take my car 07 Sport back in.

Passenger seat got really squeeky, I mean really. Any slight bump would make it go.

My drivers seat had the same thing about 5 months ago. So that's two full rail sets replaced on a 07 Sport with less then 40 000k.

At least it was under warranty.

Thanks for posting up.. my drivers seat squeaks.. and sometimes it rubs against the center console and squeaks (the right-side thigh bolster).. my passenger one squeaks very rarely.. i have 31,xxxkm on mine.. and its an 07' as well..

I have the same problem but sometimes it goes away. It also sometimes only squeeks when theres weight on it

I thought I was the only one with this problem. Glad to know this is something that can be covered under warranty. I thought Mazda would just pass it off as regular wear and tear or something. I have an appointment at Westowne this afternoon. I'll have them take a look at this.

I think its the seat belt that squeaks. I had the same problem on the passenger seat and I noticed that when someone is sitting on the seat and are wearing a seat belt then only the squeak is there. I asked someone to seat on the passenger seat while Im driving. When the seat belt was not on, there was no squeak.....when on, it started squeaking...I brought it to the dealer and asked them to check the seat belt and I think they put some lubricant there and no more squeaks!
