stock radio and console lights went off...

so i started my car and my lights were completely off. i didn't really notice cause i was backing out at first. but i hit a huge rock that some idiots thought it would be funny to put behind my car. and my car ran over it and there was a bit of a bump. so i don't think it was the rock but at the next stop light i shut my car off and re-started it. and again the same problem. so... can anyone tell me... w t f?

1. First lesson! Always do a walk-around before you get in your car! Check for obstructions, low tires, mysterious fluids underneath. It only takes a few seconds, and can often be done as you walk up to your car.
