Hi Everyone,

I recently purchased a Cobb SRI off one of our members
and while doing the install we had quite a lot of difficulty on the elbow peice.

Aka, the black hose with insulation in the middle that runs from the back of the engine block back into the short blue stubby tube on the SRI.

the issue is that we were unable to connect the actual tube back INTO the BLUE stubby thing

1. the blue stubby tube is too WIDE for the elbow to fit OVER
2. the elbow is too small to fit OVER the wide stubby tube

can anyone shed some light on how this is accomplished? or post some pics for me of that part of the intake so i can see??

trust me when i say we tried everything we could to somehow try and get it to fit.

1. I guess my question is does any peice of the actual "hose" need to be modified?
2. does the hose go INSIDE the blue stubby tube?? or does the hose go OVER the blue stubby tube?

we googled a lot of install help and stuff and noone really talks about this specifically or with pictures. they just say it's the most difficult part of the install. the cobb instructions make it seem like you just pop it on.... so i'm totally at odds....
right now we just duct taped it together for the time being

i asked garu over pm and he figured it out.
many thanks to him for understanding what the heck all my gibberish meant lol

thanks for taking a look at the post though.

the issue is that i went from MS CAI to Cobb SRI
so we were missing the "SECOND" elbow that was still connected to my stock airbox/intake.

this is all good please close mods.
