saw this today too. I think the rims look like the ends of wishbones arranged in a circle. kinda dig them though. i can't wait to see the head and tail light treatments too... I'm a sucker for bling!

Why is the lower grille "smiling"?

So I decided to do some photoshopping and managed to find some interesting and beautiful lines on the new mazda3. I think we can obviously expect a mazda6 front treatment. The single grill is obviously not true, it will have a lower and upper grill. The fog light treatment is yet to be seen. The grill on the bottom is actually much like the RX8's in shape, not boxy like its taped off. Quite the looker in the front!!!

Loving it! You can also tell it has few similarities with a current 3. And it has a rear spoiler lip now.. Wheels are a little to small except on the last pic. So I would assume the GX/GS and last pic is GT with fogs.

I would not buy it, just because I just bought car, BUT will wait for new redesigned Speed3, then we'll talk:chuckle:hawt

What's with the Michigan plates in the first picture? The 3 isn't being built in the USA now is it??? Friggin hope not. If not, then why Michigan plates and not West coast plates where the 3's would normally land from Japan.

you know, the more I look at it, the more it looks like they didn't change a heck of a lot in terms of body design...at least from what these pictures show.

Mind you once the covers come off it might look really different...but the lines look very similar to the current 3

Michigan has many test facilities used by other car companies. When I was going to school in Ann Arbor we saw cars like this (disguised with vinyl) quite frequently. The cars were from all over the world. Even those not built in Michigan so I don't think this necessarily means they're being built there.

I have to agree, my very first impression was that it looked very much like the Focus. Maybe the camo is doing it's job.

hey why try to fix something when its not broken. The current 3 design obviously proved to be a huge winner so I can see why Mazda would keep a very similar shape/style to our current 3's. Loving the dual exhaust, I am excited to hear about the engine and hopefully a 6 speed!

I ordered a mini fin from a 2009 Mazda 6 and it the wiring looks plug and play. Only problem is it costs $100 just for the part plus you gotta get it painted.
