Hi,

I've used the search function and I was able to locate this thread:

and
http://www.torontomazda3.ca/forum/showthread.php?t=9454&highlight=Cargo+Liner

Related to Cargo or Trunk Liners for the Mazda 3 Sedan. I was wondering if there are any updates or other threads or sites that are a bit more updated to 2008. I'm looking for some sort of mat or liner for the trunk for a Mazda 3 Sedan. Any additional website or help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I accidentally posted this in Exterior Maintenance when it should be in Interior Maintenance. Sorry about that and could we have this moved there.

Thanks.

Since there may not be a custom fit one for the Mazda 3 Sedan, does anyone have any solutions that would be just as good? perhaps buy some heavy duty plastic wrap or abs plastic somewhere and throw that in the back? If so where and how much would something like that cost?

Thanks.

We tried a group buy a few months ago, but there wasn't much interest. http://www.torontomazda3.ca/forum/showthread.php?t=24984&highlight=cargo+tray
Maybe you should try ebay.

Or make one yourself using a similar method. http://www.torontomazda3.ca/forum/showthread.php?t=23952&highlight=cargo+tray

Apparently Mazda makes a sedan cargo mat.

Cargo Mat 0000-8B-L05 0.2 $67.31

That's actually just a rugged carpet mat.

I've sold hatch cargo trays to quite a few sedan owners. Fitment is very close with some small gaps along the trunk end trim.

How much is the hatch cargo tray?

Its a good thing to have. I accidently spilled some Meg's Gold Class Car suds on it while I was driving to my friend's apartment to get it washed and it couldn't hold in the Simonz mitt bucket I put it in. I didn't even know the cap was lose and boy did it ever smell good near the end. Jeff's interpretation was "think of a jar of pickle juice spilled on your trunk"

I also would like to know how much the cargo mat for the Hatch would cost for implementation in the sedan model.

looking for some suggestions. i have an '09 hatch and bought the cargo tray, but i'd like something to cover the rest of back when the seats are folded. i want to be able to just throw my hockey equipment, pads and sticks in the back without having to worry about the carpet.

so far, the options are (based on what i found when i did a search):
1. buy some cheap plastic and cover the rest
2. buy some outdoor carpet and cut to fit
3. buy the cargo liner ($65) from the ebay seller in brantford

i'm kind of leaning towards #2 because i already have the back part covered with the cargo tray (so a bit of a waste to now buy the big one piece liner). also i can cut two smaller pieces of carpet in case i ever want to have just one seat foded down.

thoughts? other suggestions?
