Thermostat?

Hey guys, i need some help, at the moment i dont have any problems with my car, but if i ZOOm-Zoom out of my driveway, the CEL ENGINE LIGHT comes on and stay's. But if i slowly come out and wait perhaps 5-10 min for the engine temperature to rise between Hot and COld. I have no problems. WHere can i check the code for the CEL Engine Light?
Any Ideas ?

SO anyways, I tested it again a few minutes ago, and its very strange. THE LIGHT never came on and its crazy cold outside.Not even that, I was Zooming the engine too and it never came on.

The soultion I think is that if you are running the car and the temperature is set to Cold, then I have a problem, but if i turn it too Hot Hair, but i dont leave it running, then the Engine Light doesnt come on. Strange, but works.
Ill test it soon again.

i would suggest getting a code reader and checking the code. Usually it stores it in memory that the thermostat was or is jammed open or closed but does not usully set an engine light. gl let us know what you find
