Had an oil change and filter done. Techs asked if i had any concerns with my car i said it makes creaking noises when i turn my wheel from side to side and that my steering wheel vibrates when i brake at speeds around 100kph. they said they would check out the creaks but it would be like 70 bucks to check the breaks out as there is no warranty after 20000 km and that is only to check for a problem. i said no thanks to checking my brakes. took about an hour in total for the service that day which is good because i usually get 2 hour plus waits for only an oil change. they told me that the problem with my suspension is probably because of my coilovers and that i should take it back to the shop that installed it so im assuming they didnt even look for a problem. im pretty sure the problem is not the after market suspension, but what can you do.

all in all it was one of my better experiences with mazda out of the dealerships ive been too. i just hate the fact that once you have any aftermarket part they automatically rule out their oem part as a the problem. oh and my mazdaspeed exhaust has a crack.

it could be an unproperly torqued bolt...so it's possible it could be the suspension, it wouldn't hurt to have where you get it installed take a look at their work

The rotors on your car might be warped as well. My friend who has had his car since July 06 had his rotors replaced because they were warped and when braking at higher speeds would cause the steering wheel to shake. There's no harm in it, since it was shaking only a little bit. My car is 5 months newer than his and has the same slight shake. I never had mine replaced because i don't mind it.

On another note, I've been taking my car to Brampton for 2 years now and am pretty happy with the service. Bruce and Carson would be the go to guys there when you take it in for service. Bruce fit me in today when i called 730 in the morning without making an appointment to have my car checked and the vinyl on my shift boot replaced under warranty after it developed some cracking.

Areyou coil overs mounted on rubber insulators or just metal to metal? If its metal to metal thats where your noise is coming from!
