Just wondering if anyone else has had this issue when going over potholes or bumps... I hear a clunking sound coming from the front right as if something is loose. I took the car to the dealer and they didn't find/hear anything. So I went for a drive with the Service Manager and he was able to hear it but didn't know what it could be. The car is back there today for them to diagnose. Oh yeah, the car only has 15km on it.

Thanks,

When I had a front-end clunking noise I went to Street Performance and Jimmy figured out it that the bolt for the shock/strut was loose. It's the bolt you see in the centre of that triangle-ish plate, near the battery, when you open the hood.

Maybe have that inspected?

Loose sway bar links? I had a clunking noise coming from the back suspension only to find one of the nuts on my rear sway link was loose. Tightend her up and now the noise is gone.

My car has the same problem on the drivers side
Anyone know what the problem is for sure?

So I got the car back yesterday and they were able to find the problem. Apparently the RR shock is defective so they are going to replace it under warranty. So that's what the sound is for anyone that has the same issue.

I also get some clunking noise at the front passenger area (I believe thats where its coming from while im driving the car). The noise can be heard clearly when driving slowly and going over pot holes, small bumps and in parking lots. It started sometime last winter and I went to the dealership and they could not find anything wrong. But they said that I should bring the car back if it gets worse.

When summer started, the noise surprisingly went away but it again came back. Now I have figured out that it only happens when its damp outside (rainy) and goes away when its dry. So this explains the noise during winter as there is snow but if I remember clearly it was there during winter even when it wouldnt snow and the roads are dry. Now Im thinking that it happens when its damp (for sure) and maybe cold.

And yes I also hear some squeaky noise (in damp conditions) in the same front passenger area when the car is stand still and I turn the steering wheel either direction.

Im going to explain this to the dealer when I go in for my next service in a months time. Lets see what they figure out.

Have anyone noticed the same behaviour?

I've been having a creak in the front suspension when both wheels go over a bump at the same time. From reading various threads here it is just a lack of grease at one of the joints.

The problem is that it only happens when it is cold or very wet and so far I haven't been able to demo it for the service manager.
