the console light flickers... - anyone have this issue?

Hi

my console light well not the speedometre but where the stereo cd player is it keeps flickering sometimes

it looks like it's going on and off on and off

it doesn't seem like it's burning out

is there something that's draining the power?

i only have an HID kit installed and shouldn't they run less battery then halogen lights?

The HID kit shouldn't affect the interior lights at all. Pull the fuse or pop the relay for your HIDs and see if the problem goes away. If it does.... you have a botched HID install. If the problem does NOT go away... you could still have a botched HID install, or it could be something else.

Ya my stock deck does that over bumps. Kinda weird.

Sometimes the back light goes completely off.

except its only when i have the subs on, and when i stop on the brake...

my head lights flicker when i close my windows lolllll. althought doesnt help if i have the subs in.

IMHO the console has to be replace to correct the problem. I just saw one happen today, will have it done tomorrow. I guess it may be some solder joint get loose inside the unit.
