Ok, I did a couple searches and turned up nothing. I want to eventually get a new audio setup for my MS3, and I was wondering where could I run the amp's remote power wire? I'm currently running the stock deck on the LOC. I forgot all about the remote wire when I had my cheap MTX set, and was lucky enough it turned its self on and off using RCA inputs. This time I'd like to do it properly. SO can anyone tell me where I can run the REM power wire to work correctly?

I'm pretty sure it's yellow with silver dots. I am using it for my remote wire turn on for my amp. It turns on when the car is started though, not when the deck is turned on. I think it's more of an accessory (+) wire.

Info was found here as well http://www.cardomain.com/ride/495957/10

Is it the same on the base head unit as it is on my 6 cd Bose? I have my LOC attached to the amp under my seat. And I didn't snip the wires for my front speakers completely for the LOC. I simply took the insulation off 1cm on the front speaker wires, wrapped the correct LOC wires around the bare part, then taped them up seperately. But thanks, I will check the yellow with silver dot wire on my HU.

Anyone else have any other solutions that might be worth trying?

Maybe you can just tap off the Bose amp remote wire.

Thanks for the info! I could have used that knowledge when I was in the snow storm installing my last system, lol. Thought I was SOL but the amp just popped on when I turned on the car.

I fed off the blue wire from the HU for the remote turn on to my amp, and it works beautifully, in ACC mode also.

My question now is, can I run that remote line through a switch to allow me to effectively turn off my amp/subs ? Would the switch need to be grounded, since its just a direct positive feed to begin with ?
