If I were to just get a Sub thats 300-500 W RMS, would I need to just get an amp for this or do i need to change my whole entire system.... all i really need is bass , I find the stock system if fine but lacks on base.. any info suggestion is great.... iam low on cash at the moment so spending hundreds or thousands on a complete system such as 4 speakers, deck, amp , sub is out of the question, just a sub that I can run on stock deck and maybe an amp if need be.

well for a sub u need an amp regardless check some fture shop bundles uf your looking to save money and u can use a LOC to connect ur stock deck to ur amp/sub so ur all good and keep the cabin speaker if u want for now change em later on

i heard futureshop and best buy installer are amatures at installs, i dont want to get them to touch my car and mess something up, I am gonna contact audio haven and see what pricing i can get on it, the complete system is just not in my budget at all at this point

For minimal bass you need the following:
-sub + box
-amp (you have to have an amp to power the sub)
-wiring kit for the amp
-LOC (line out converter)
-install costs
Extra:
-sub control (if you want it)
Audio Heaven will hook you up.
