anyone replaced the spare with full size steel rim/tire?

Just wondering if anyone fit a full size tire on a steel rim in the space for the spare tire? I prefer to have the security of a full size wheel.

Not sure it fit even by diameter.
I simply have the tire repair kit. In many cases it should to help.

I tried to put my winter 16" tire in there, too big. I also keep a tire repair kit in the trunk
