First of all... Let me start out... That when I went to Ontario Mazda for the first time.... they gave me lip for not going to brampton mazda, where I purchased my car... (I'm sorry, but I was TRYING to give them my money!)

Sooo I've heard that Mississauga Mazda had a very mod friendly service dept... and that 2 stars from that dept. went to Oakville mazda.

So I got my 48,000k checkup, Wheel alignment, and odd tidbits and complaints booked in at mazda. I walk in, I'm greeted by a super friendly person (tiffiany?) who's nothing but smiles, and they get me checked in and put in. Then they check for recalls on my car (no other dealership has done this) They let me know how much it'll cost in advance, and that they'll take the 15% off the bill at the end (for TM3 members)

I go forward and warn them of the mods I've done, and Tiffany asks how much lower my car is. She Then warns me that their lift for the alignment MAY or may not work for my car, as its designed to be low car friendly, but needs to be recessed into the ground (which it will be in the new location)

It cleared, BARELY. 3 guys were watching as a 4th slowly (SUPER slowly) drove it up the ramp. Some metal barely touched, but otherwise everything was ok (I don't have side sill extensions)

2.5 hours later... They let me know that a new seatbelt has been ordered (as the one i have squeaks... I just asked for a shot of WD40 or something. the DEALER opted to get it replaced! (wow!)

And then, Not only do I get the 15% off... But they give me a nice fancy Mazda watch! :-D

THe time flew by in the lobby - They had wireless internet access and Satellite TV.

Overall.... An awesome experience. Definately my ONLY mazda dealer from now on (and except maybe Flippy for parts sometimes :-P)

Even the sales guys were chatty and helpful, talking with passion about the Mazda6 and new Mazda3. I mentioned my Woes with brampton mazda (they woudln't tell me the price of their warranties until I signed a deposit and talked to the "sales manager" for "add ons" ... So I didn't buy a warranty. And then the sales guy said he would most likely be able to get me the warranties at the "new car" price. When I can afford it... I think I will. I'm burning through the KM way faster than I thought.

Soooo Service team: 11/10, for dealing with my millions of questions in a positive and helpful manner

Parts 10/10. They sourced out a part I couldn't even name and ordered it for me (the hood... sound deadener panel thingy, Only comes stock on GT's and not 2.0litre engines...)

Sales 10/10 from what I can tell. We chatted up a storm.

Overall... Just awesome. Once they get their new location its going to be killer.

They didn't blink twice at my mods, and admired my "thriftyness" towards mods/e-bay things, and agreed with me about certian, ub3r overpriced mazda parts (i.e. fog lights, LED tails, etc)

Yeah, Long review... but they deserve it!

I've passed along your great feedback to all of the staff! Being an 11/10 is definitely where we are striving to be.
The new store is going to be VERY mod friendly, both for the owner as well as the car!

Jason, I have to give you credit, it looks like you've turned things around. My brother lives in Oakville and has two Mazda's. He took one to Oakville about two years ago and the service was terrible. He stopped going there, and I told him to give it another shot since it seems things have improved. Sure enough he took one of the cars there not too long ago and said that it was a night and day difference. He was very happy with the overall experience and will now switch all service for both vehicles back to Oakville.

On behalf of my brother, keep up the good work!

From what I understand, Jason took over the dealership just less than 2 years ago. Perhaps they should have put an "under new management" flyer out to all their registered customers :-P

The new store is going to be located at the QEW and Third Line. Right beside the Acura dealership on the North Side. The plan is to be in the new facility in 8 months (June 2009). We have some challenges ahead of us, but I will definitely keep everybody posted as we get closer to the move date.
All TM3 members will be invited to a big grand opening party :)
If anybody is interested in what the new building will look like, stop by the dealership and I'll show you the detailed plans.

I figure I'll post a review on Oakville Mazda in here instead of making a new post.

In the past month, I've had a few things done at Oakville Mazda.

Decided to break down and get an iPod adapter just before the C7 cruise since I wanted something to listen to. Talked with Andrew from the parts department to get the part and picked it up on a Wednesday. Got home, found 1 of the 2 boxes had the throw-away tags and stuff they didn't need anymore and was missing a part.

No big deal, went the Thursday and picked up the proper part and tried to install it myself. Was very confused and ended up rushing over there to try and get them to install it that night. Turns out it was a bad module. Suffice to say, through many problems, they stayed open about 15 min later than normal to finish it. Only problem though was due to the space and slight hurry, while it worked while my car was apart, when they put it back together, didn't work. Throughout the whole thing, Josh (I think that was the name) from parts talked to me and 1flycdnm3 and everything, relaying info on how it was going.

Once again, no problem, drop it off on the Friday so they can work on it the Saturday. All fixed with no problems. Hell, Tiffany gave her own car to someone from the parts (I think he was from parts) to drop me off at home. While they were busy on the Saturday and took me a few calls to find out what was going on, everything worked out in the end.

I also went in for my 16,000KM service. Came in about 15 or so min before my appointment and they were able to take me right away. Took less than 1 hour and absolutely no problems. When I dropped off my keys Tiffany asked how the iPod adapter was working so I let her know that there was a slight issue with the iPod adapter and she said she would do some research about it to see if it was common. Haven't heard back yet but been a bit busy to find out more. Nice and speedy service.

I also got the same valence for the Mazdaspeed. Andrew in parts was able to get it the next day so I could install it on the weekend. Also let me sit in the Mazdaspeed3 to hear the exhaust.

Overall, very good service department. Parts is really interested in getting to know the local community (coming out to some of the meets) and is very speedy in replying to emails. Great dealership that should get better when they move locations.

I"d like to know why as an incentive to make the move from my current Mazda dealership, why Oakville Mazda ( Jason is who I spoke to) wont give me a complimentary tire rotation during my next oil change which is upcoming very shortly. I find that a bit much as a goodwill gesture to retain yet another speed 3 loyal customer they wont swap my snows for my summers free of charge when my oil is getting changed.

Oakville Mazda was very accommodating of me when I was booking my appointments and I booked through emails (since their website wasn't up yet). When I got to my appointment, they took me in immediately and gave my car great care, even coming to me to report a problem I had.

I previously serviced my 3 at Mississauga Mazda. When I found out they were closing/moving, I decided to switched over to Oakville Mazda based on the many positive reviews on the board and also because from viewing posts by Jason, he genuinely wanted to make his dealership a friendly place to go to with no hassles.

If there was a problem, Jason would have wanted to correct it the best way possible, as soon as possible.

Due to the positive experience at Oakville Mazda, I'm probably going to continue to service my car there in the future (and because it's convenient for me).

blackspeed3, please don't take my lack of immediate response as "No" or "I'm not interested".

I've been pretty sick for the last week and just got back from SEMA last night. Although I try to get back to everybody as soon as I can, sometimes the dealership operation, my other business, and life become more of a priority for me. If I haven't responded right away, please be patient, or give me a call.
I'll try to PM you tomorrow with a response.

Looks like I've been threadjacked.

Tiffany and I have been passing e-mails back and forth - Needless to say - She responds to messages quicker than I can!

I've got an appointment to go back to replace my driver side seatbelt (it squeaks... ALOT) and to pick up a hood damper/sound deadener thingofajigger. I'm going in at 8am on a saturday, as its the only time convienent for me - And she was able to slot me in.

As for freebies - If you expect them - They're not as memorable. Complaining because you didn't get something for nothing just makes you look like a whiner. And plus - Its the unexpected freebies that totally won me over.

Who wants to do something nice for someone else if that person demands it?

I went into get my free oil change which i should mention they did not have to give me at all, the free 3 year oil change I had was from another very crappy mazda dealer whom I will never deal with again, Jason was not there that day but Tiffany provided great service no questions asked, she said it would take 2 hours for the service and it was done pretty much when she said it would be done maybe 10 mins more cause they had a line up in service. I had my car washed without needing to ask, The dealership is about 1 hour drive from me but it was worth the trip. I cant wait to see how nice the new dealership is going to be. What you are saying is that they are giving away freebies to attract customers which is true, theres nothing wrong with that , its called business. All in all they offer outstanding friendly service with the best pricing as well. The only confusion that I had is on their website it said if you spend 100 or more you receive free gift card which they did not have so I got a sunshade, I told them of it and today I looked on their site and it was fixed, I would like to thank Jason and the team for their great service, I will recommend Oakville Mazda for sure

Noticed one of my posts was removed - Sorry :-(

I just got back from Oakville mazda, Spent a bit longer than I expected there, but for good reason - Tiffany Offered to install my ordered part - For free! I found out that she was planning to do it all along when I asked if I could install it while the car was in the shop (to avoid having to cart it in my car awkwardly to bring it home)

It was awesome. I'm DEFINATELY glad they did this - as the part was missing the clips to install it! They drove to another dealer, picked up the clips, and installed it in my car.

ANd they replaced my seatbelt, and uncovered a mound of loose change that had fallen out of my pockets and under the seat after all this time!

No more squeaks from the seatbelt, And the car sounds SOOO much nicer with the hood sound deadener damper thing (that the GT) has. Gets rid of the tinny kinda... mousey? Sound that the 2 litre has. Now all i hear is the nice purr/rumble of my CAI :-D

My Oakville Mazda experience.............
I am glad to see that some of you have had a good experience with Oakville Mazda.
My experience leaves something to be desired.
I received an e-mail confirming a lease price of a certain dollar amount including all taxes and associated fees (freight,PDI etc.) with $0 down and that the price was good until the end of November. This was on Thursday, when I arrived at the dealership on Saturday I was told that the lease has increased by $30 per month and required $2,000 down, they also denied the e-mail...Is this the type of dealership you would do business with?

Because the pricing on the 8k services (Oil Service and Tire Rotation) are already discounted for everybody, we don't apply an additional TM3 discount to that part of the service. Everything that is not already reduced in price is eligible for discounts. ie. We already have 35% off our wheel covers, so obviously we cannot reduce the pricing further.

I have spoken with psfl and am investigating his concern. We'll keep you posted as to what the outcome is.

Regarding my last post....Would you do business with this dealership
My answer is YES!!!
Within hours of my post, Jason Guttman replied and asked for further information.
I replied and a successful conclusion was reached to the satisfaction of both of us!
I look forward to doing business with Oakville Mazda and I give Mr. Guttman full points for not only reading all blogs but coming to the plate to satisfy his customers both existing and future.
Thanks Jason and Graham.

you typically want a fresh oil change for winter along with

1) Full gas tank with stabil added
2) Clean dry car. Park on a tarp to prevent condensation from the concreate
3) Overfill tire PSI to 40-45psi
4) get wheel blocks, no handbrake
5) optional car cover
6) disconnect the battery... don't start it for fun unless you're going for a drive and it will get hot otherwise condenstation will just build in the exhaust

Thanks for giving us the opportunity to earn your business. I'm glad we came out with a win-win scenario for everybody.

With respect to the oil service before putting the car away, Unoriginal has done a great job. I think all Mazda dealers charge the same price for the oil service: $39.95. Some dealers will wash your car, check for service updates and provide you with a report. And some dealers will even provide cookies, gourmet coffee and a smile while you wait :)

If you are interested in buying a Mazda, either new, or used, please contact me directly before coming into the dealership. That way I can ensure you get special TM3 pricing.

I went in for the 40,000km oil change and was out in under an hour. I didn't even finish watching Russell Peters on my laptop!

I have to put in a good word for Robin who was managing the service desk. She is a pleasure to work with. I've dealt with Robin before at Erin Mills Mazda and she's still providing great customer service. She's friendly, cheerful and made sure I was comfortable in the waiting area. She even came by to let me know when the techs would be finished with my car.

I'll make sure to go to Oakville Mazda for maintenance from now on.

I just came back from Oakville Mazda and was not too impressed. My two concerns with the car were the dreadful ticking noise that a lot of people have complained about, and the terrible gas mileage. After I explain what I'm in for to the service guy at the desk. He says they have no way of checking the issue of gas mileage. How about hooking it up to the computer for start I wanted to say. But hey I didn't want to be rude. Then he asks me if this is my first Mazda and what I drove before. After I said yes it's a first one and I drove a Mitsubishi Eclipse before, he gives me a weird smile and a look. Who cares what I drove before. Is there something they know about Mazda cars that we don't? Then the tech comes out and checks the car and says he can't hear the ticking noise. So we go for a ride and after we stop we listen again and he says it's normal. Helicopter ticking sound is normal? Ok, so I ask about the gas mileage. He says he doesn't really know what the gas mileage should be on these cars. Ah, what the hell. He's a Mazda technician, and he doesn't know what the gas consumption should be? I told him I'm getting 12 - 12.5L / 100 km. He said it's normal and that mazda manual is not truthful about the real numbers. WTF. My buddy's 09 WRX 265 with a 2.5 Liter AWD Turbo is getting 11l/100km. They took the car in the shop, and after half an hour, he says they can't find nothing wrong on the car. Also, the car is new and it's still learning my way of driving. Yea, like that will stop the ticking noise. I'm pissed that I bought a Mazda. Should've stuck with Mitsu or Subaru or Toyota. I hate doing anything with dealers cause my past experiences were all like this. I thought Oakville is the best as everyone says, but I drove there in rush hour for nothing.

Gas mileage is not a warranty issue. How you choose to drive the car is up to you. Watch this top gear clip on a BMW M3 vs. a Toyota prius - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MXPCckjTMVg Long story short the prius uses more fuel than the M3 if you choose to drive like a tool.

Service staff are not sales staff trained to know advertised fuel consumption ratings; they are there to diagnose problems with your vehicle and service it to the standards required by mazda for warranty purposes & vehicle safety and longevity etc.

If the issue wasn't present when the tech was there from a noise perspective there is little they can do for you. Thats not an oakville mazda policy, thats a mazda canada policy. It will be the same wherever you go. you will not get a TSB performed without any of the issues being confirmed by the tech end of story. I've had the same issue with my windshield dash rattle whereby I booked an appointment and the temperature just happened to warm up that day and it didn't do it which means i need to miss more time from work, and drive 30min back in colder weather when it will do it. Does that make me happy? no, but thats how the process works... in the meantime work on your lead foot :chuckle I get 8-9l per 100km in my mazdaspeed 3 or better on weekend hwy trips.

Buddy, I drive the Mazda like a grandmother. 3300km and two months I have it, I haven't revved past 4000 rpm. It's not my first car, and I know what it should be like. I'm not saying that Oakville Mazda is bad, I think they all are. They hire cheap people who don't know their own cars. On top of things, when I mentioned the faulty vacuum tube, the tech said that it's a TSB, but still didn't do anything about it.

I'm sure gas mileage could become a warranty issue if there is something defective found to be causing the poor gas mileage.

On a side note...I have nothing really "bad" more liked a mixed review to say about Oakville Mazda. When I went to get warranty work done a few weeks ago I noticed 12km put on my car. The only work done on the car was a tire rotation, oil change and diagnosing a squeaky seatbelt. I was told the tech's need to drive the car to diagnose the warranty issue which is perfectly understandable obviously. But it does not take 12km of driving to diagnose a squeaky drivers side seatbelt which I can hear backing out of my driveway. I wasn't impressed with that at all. Also when I went to pick up my car the cashier....(a very nice lady covering the service desk because everyone else had left for the day) had to get me change from her own car because they dont keep any cash on hand. That is quite ridiculous in my opinion. I also got "attitude" when I asked for new tires bags because my old ones needed replacing due to some rips in them. I was like WTF? Other then that my car was in fine shape when I got it back so I'm on the fence.

Well I'm not crapping totally on Oakville Mazda. Andrew in parts dept. seemed very nice and gave me his email to check him when I'm ready to get some performance parts. And a discount for being a TM3 member. Last week I was there, Robyn in service was real cool, and more informative about my new car than the tech this week. I'm just dissapointed in Mazda. The fact that I have to go in to see a dealer for a brand new car pisses me off.

It really doesent matter what dealer you go to or what car u buy, if u buy a 200,000+ SL65 and u have a problem with it, they wont fix anything unless they can replicate the problem, dont stress out too much bro I took mine in soo many times before anything was done. It doesent make sense to change a part which costs money if the issue can not be replicated, I tottaly agree that some dealers abuse this and pretend their is no problem but to my honest opinion Oakville Mazda is one of those few dealers who does not abuse this.

I checked into this for you and discovered that you also had a concern about the cowl chatter. Our technicians went beyond the Mazda TSB to try and fix this issue. They wanted to make sure the issue was resolved and that is why they took it for a couple of test drives to make sure it was dealt with.

Also when I went to pick up my car the cashier....(a very nice lady covering the service desk because everyone else had left for the day) had to get me change from her own car because they dont keep any cash on hand. That is quite ridiculous in my opinion..

Most people these days pay for their service with debit or credit cards. We don't keep a lot of cash, and if we run out of some coin after hours, the safe is locked. I hope this wasn't too much of an inconvenience for you. I have spoken to the accounting department and asked them to increase the change we have after hours.

I also got "attitude" when I asked for new tires bags because my old ones needed replacing due to some rips in them. I was like WTF? Other then that my car was in fine shape when I got it back so I'm on the fence.

Fortunately, because of our advertising, pricing and service, our tire sales have more than doubled. Unfortunately, we ran out of tire bags the day that you were in, and we could either reuse some bags, or not use bags at all. I'd be more than happy to have someone drive out a set of tire bags to your house, or if you want to pick some up at your next service, we can make those arrangements.

I'll pass along the positive feedback to Maggie, a part time concierge's.

The feedback is great, and I appreciate the opportunity to provide some answers to your questions. If your car is in service, and you have any questions or concerns while you are here, please let one of our managers know so that we can deal with it before you get home.
Lastly, please don't hesitate to email me directly if you don't think you have received a satisfactory response from our staff.

Thanks for visiting Oakville Mazda service.

Just had some more warranty work completed today. Tiffany was very friendly and was all smiles as usual :) Had radio replaced, and drivers side seat belt as is was very squeaky. Took a few hours ( I had some errands to run up the road and just read a magazine the last half hour I was waiting) and Tiffany offered to have my car washed before she handed my keys over which was a nice way to finish out my visit. I definately left with a better feeling then the first visit. Keep up the good work Oakville Mazda.

Jason,

Thanks for staying on top of everything...you really do seem to care and go above and beyond keeping customers happy. You have my vote! Although we haven't met, you seem like a stand up guy and I look forward to meeting you in the future.

Just wanted to add my kudos to Oakville Mazda for my recent buying experience. Unfortunately due to distance, they weren't my first choice. I originally went to Mazda of Toronto. The salesperson kept me waiting for 40 minutes after my appointment time, and when she finally came out, she offered no explanation or apology for the delay. Her attitude during the test drive was one of boredom, and just going through the motions. Maybe the small profit margin wasn't worth the effort...
Anyway, reading more of the great reviews on this forum, convinced me to drive out to Oakville. It was worth it. I communicated with Jason directly, he gave me a great price, answered all my questions. Everyone was helpful and friendly. I felt that they were all committed to good customer service, which I really appreciated. I would definitely recommend them to anyone considering buying a Mazda!

I popped in to oakville Mazda today, as some ice/snow from the big storms managed to break/warp my wheel wells. They've ordered the part, and I'm going in a week or so to get it installed. Awesome guys, Sent someone outside to my car to see if they could salvage the part and just repair it. (unfortuantely not)

Great service again at Oakville Mazda, My appointment was set for 9:00am & sure enough within less then 5 mins of me handing the keys over, they had it into the service bay.

I had taken in my 2008 for it's 24 k service so had about 1.5 hrs to kill, it was great for them to allow me to test drive the all new 2008 Mazda 6 GT & CX7 as my 2006 is about to come off it's lease.

I also would like to thank the entire staff as well as Maggie as I was shocked that she was baking Fresh Cookies right on site. I recommend them next time your in for your service, along with the fresh coffee.

Jason also called me last week to make sure that my appointment was taken care of. (Very professional!)

Tiffany and the staff was very friendly and welcomed me with a smile.
I would highly recommend this dealer. I'm definitely getting my bro-in-law and sister to get their service done by them. Worth the drive.

My only regret is my sister, bro-in-law and myself bought the car at erin mills. I wish we all bought our cars at Oakville. They definitely deserve it.
My mom is thinking of getting her POS Dodge Caravan traded this summer and I will definitely give Jason a call.

Thanks again!! :)

I dont take crap from any dealership so some people think its impossible for me to be pleased but Oakville Mazda has done this.

Great Job!

My friend is looking for a used 3 so I suggested we check out Oakville Mazda.

I emailed Jason an inquiry on the used inventory and he and Graham replied quickly. My friend and I dropped by the dealership on our way back from a few private sales and had a good experience.

The sales staff was busy but we only waited maybe 15 minutes, which wasn't bad since we had those wonderful cookies from the receptionist (Molly, I think?). There was NO PRESSURE from Aaron who showed us a few models and let us go for a test drive. (Aaron looks like Will Sasso from MadTv :bana)

My friend still has a few private sales to check into but the deal at Oakville Mazda is definitely on his short list.

Went in for my 40k today and mentioned that the driver seat had an annoying squeek.

The whole process took quite a bit longer than I had hoped for, but at least the work was done right and the necessary parts were ordered for me to be installed at a later date. As usual, everyone was super-friendly and took onus on themselves to uphold a higher standard of customer service - Kudos!

Finally met Jason in person, who managed to take a few minutes out of his hectic schedule to chat & make sure I was taken care of, cookies and all :chuckle

I have a Mazda3 Sport GT on a 4 years lease and I planned to return it to get a 2009 Mazda6 on 0% financing. I emailed Jason at Oakville Mazda and he replied to me right away within minutes and called right afterwards and got all the details from me about the car I wanted to buy.

Next day my wife and I met Jason at Oakville Mazda and he was very courteous and friendly. We sat down with Jason and Jonathan (sales manager) and negotiated the price. They offered us good price, but we could not reach a decision because we were very specific in our requirements (Mazda 6 GS with MT in black color), and with 0% financing not too many options regarding color etc were available..

We ended up buying a slightly used Demo Mazda 6 GT with MT and Luxury Package in black color ( exactly what we wanted ideally) from Direct Mazda , but we wish we would have bought it from Oakville Mazda, because we were treated so nicely.. And the pricing wasn't bad

Jason even called me, twice after we met, and offered to work on bringing the price further down, but by then we already had bought the car.

Even though we did not buy the car from Oakville Mazda, but our experience there was great, and we will be going there for service...

Just had my Mazda 3 serviced at Oakville Mazda.

I was dissatisfied with Erin Mills mazda service department. After having more than a few problems I've deceided to permanetly switch to another dealership even though the location is a lot more convient.

Went in for my 48km service appointment. They suggested I have the brake fluid flushed, and cabin air filter changed. I opted just for the brake fluid flush. Asked them to check my brakes and surprisingly I have .8 left on the rears, and .6 on the fronts. I was expecting quite a bit less.

Also had them replace a bent rim on the back.

On their test drive they noticed I needed new wheel bearings and replaced these under warranty.

All in all a great experience they kept in communication all day keeping me informed of issues that came up etc. (wheel bearing, brake fluid, and cabin air filter)

They even dropped me off at work which in my opinion was a bit too far to ask of them but they were more than willing.

Long time lurker, first time poster...

I just got home with my new 2010 Mazda3 Sport GS (with comfort package) that the fine folks at Oakville Mazda procured for me. I originally approached Jason after reading about him and Oakville Mazda on the forum here and he was very helpful with a lot of advice for first-time buyers like us. My wife and I went to see him and he was quite friendly and straightforward in his negotiations, which was very much appreciated. We settled on a very reasonable price quite quickly.

After that we dealt with the extremely helpful David Wilke who took us through all the warranty and protection options and explained the whole process to us. His explanations were very clear and he gave recommendations on which options he thought were best but did not push them on us.

Since the model and color (Celestial Blue) weren't available on the lot, they put one on order for us. The sales manager and David were both responsive on email and sent us updates when the car arrived in Vancouver and when it arrived at the dealership.

We went to pick it up this afternoon and a friendly guy called Ryan took us through the delivery process, explaining everything we had to sign and needed to know. We also got to meet Tiffany, the Service Manager, who was extremely friendly and showed us a few things on the car while Ryan was called away.

Overall, it was a great experience and I would highly recommend Oakville Mazda to anybody!

I was in this morning for my 24,000km service and again have nothing but great things to say about Oakville Mazda!

Went in as per usual to see Nelson at the service desk. He and I did a perimeter check of the car then went back inside. Settled in to the lounge area using their wifi on my iPhone and reading my book. The dealership was pretty busy today as there were two women shopping for a 2010 Mazda 3 and three or four people in the waiting area waiting for their service to be completed.

Of course Oakville Mazda employees are never too busy to shoot a smile your way when you're around. I distinctly remember sitting there, glancing up and having Nelson walk by and look my way and give me a smile. I thought that was very nice of him. Thea even came around back and handed out some cookies to myself and the other people waiting in the lounge area. Then before I knew it (actually as I was just sitting back down after making myself a tea) Nelson was calling me to tell me that my car was ready! This was just about an hour later. I was very surprised as I've been asking around and most people told me their 24k service took around 2 hours to complete. Nelson said they had extra staff on today so one worked at the front of my car and one worked at the back. Regardless, was awesome service.

As I was paying Nelson also handed me a long box which he put on top of my invoice. I asked what it was and he said it was a gift. I open it up and it's a lovely steel thermos with a Mazda logo on it. Was very impressed.

Again Oakville Mazda took my synthetic oil with no issue. I left it in the passenger seat and they used it with nothing to say :)

Plus I guess since it was a "major" service they gave me TM3 discount too. That was awesome!

Thank you again Oakville Mazda and I'm sorry I didn't see you Jason or Andrew. I'm sure I will see you both soon.

We had our first experience with Oakville Mazda it was okay but not as good as we expected...The customer service was good, don't have any complaints about them, but the car service was a bit disappointing.
First of all, car after wash (which is mandatory after service) looked like it was just sprayed with water. There were dried sprinkles of water all over the car (which were very obvious on dark parts). My wife has to spend 30 min to clean windows and make car look nicer (as we talk to people who do their service in different dealerships (not Mazda), they always get their cars back clean and as they would be ready for showroom) ....
Second, the tire pressure was 33.5 (instead of 32 as required by manufacture) but report says 32. Did they really check it after correction??? It seems to me that inspection was done only on paper...
And the sticker on front window(showing when next change of oil has to be done) looked like fall leaf :) It was partially detached and looked to fall down any time (but it suppose to be there till next year hehe)... I know that it's such a small thing, but sometimes it shows how much they "care" about your car.
Overall impression is the following: customer service is good but I would not trust my car to this dealership. It was just very basic service and we expected it to be perfect. It was our first and probably last time when we did service there...=)

Question, when did you check the tire pressure? Was it after you drove home? If yes, then it will of course be higher than 32psi because tires heat up when they are moving and so does the air pressure in the tires. Check your tire pressure when they are completely cold for a proper reading. Also, 32psi is only a recommendation. You can run the tires higher than this. Personally, I prefer the ride at 34psi.

5 STAR RATING - the abs and tcs lights came on a week after i got my new 2010 m3. i live in brampton but decided to take my car to oakville based on reviews on tm3 rather than to brampton or to the dealership i purchased the car (ontario, they will never get another penny from me).

they told me the abs line was "sliced" and that they would have to replace the entire part. here comes the great news - instead of asking me to come back when the part came in, the service manager (forget her name...) allowed the mechanics to use her brand new abs parts from her 2010.

i was so happy bc i bet my new car that this never would have happened at those other 2 dealerships.

thx again !

When I felt my 2004 was shifting too hard I decided to go to Oakville Mazda after all of the glowing reviews here on the boards, to get it checked. I dealt with the service manager Tiffany who was very nice and helpful. The mechanics suggested I flush my tranny and change my filter, which I decided to go ahead and do (with the tm3 discount of course).

With the inspection they also found my intake manifold was broken so Tiffany put a warranty request in for me that next morning. After the part arrived a few weeks later I went in to have it replaced and again the staff was very nice and informative. The part was installed without a hitch and I was very happy.

Throughout the whole process, the service staff was always updating me on the progress. I was very impressed with the service. The owner even sat down to have a quick chat with me and introduce himself.

I will definitely be bringing my car there for my next service.

I was going to open up a new thread to talk about my experience at Oakville Mazda, but I figure more people will see the review if I just post it within this one. I really hope a lot of people see this thread because they deserve all the good publicity they can get and have been getting!

I arrived at Oakville Mazda about two weeks ago when I was turned down service by another dealership. Hearing good things I figured that I would visit the modest dealership on my lunch break. As soon as I walked in the door I was greeted with warm smiles from Tiffany (and I think Katie? sorry if I am wrong). I took out all the previous paperwork on my car showed it to them and told them both what was going on, and what I thought the problem might be. With me not having much time, and they being as busy as they were we set up an appointment for Wednesday of the next week where I could bring in my car and go over all the issues in more detail. So I arrive again the next Wednesday and once again see Tiffany. Right away she says "I remember you! Let's take a look at your paperwork." Right away she noticed somethings that concerned her a little bit and went over everything with me. Next she asked if I wanted to go out for a road test to show her all the stuff that was going on. Am I ever glad I did, because there were a few other issues that I had forgot to mention that she actually pointed out as to sounding a bit strange. So we get back she tells me all that they are going to do and what they are going to look at and it shouldn't be more than 2 days before I get an update on my car. I needed a rental car so she said that she would call enterprise and they would meet me in the waiting room while I could enjoy some fresh baked cookies :). So 1 day goes by and on the next day she ACTUALLY CALLED! (something that didn't happen at another dealership). She let me know about things that they thought were wrong with the car but they still be doing some diagnosis on it. After playing phone tag with Tiffany we finally got in contact with each other the next day and they had found the root of the problem, and assured me that it would all be covered under warranty and not to worry about anything that they had ordered the parts and that by Tuesday of the next week I should have my car back. Well today is Tuesday, and I have my car back, functioning the way that it was brand new.

I have to say bravo Oakville Mazda!! You have yet another EXTREMELY satisfied customer! I can not express my gratitude enough to you for renewing my faith in the Mazda name. I knew that all dealerships for the most part are owned seperately but you can't help but be left with a bad taste in your mouth from bad experience. You have made that go away!(might be due to the cookies)

I could not wipe the smile off my face as I was driving on the highway back home. The car feels so stable now and maybe a bit peppier that I may have been messing around with a viper on the way back. :loco

Anyways for all those who haven't visited the dealership for the service area, I truly suggest that you check it out! You will be pleasantly surprised with the way that they make you feel like family every time you walk in! All I can say is that I hope it keeps up once they get into their new facility! I have no doubts that they will maintain the same superb customer service.

Once again,

Thank You!!!

They got me in on short notice, as soon as I arrived Tiffany and Andrew helped me out, got my car in and in no less than 10 mins I had my new set installed. Now, I know it's not a lengthly process to install this item, but at other dealerships sometimes simple tasks take 3x what it should, and it's good to know that they can take care of simple things quickly, and from what i'm hearing here, they handle the big things well too! so i'll be going back there when I need some work done. I'm excted to see the new facility!

Thanks guys!

Oakville Mazda..what can I say..? Bought my 2010 Mz3 from them back in October when they had that one day "sale". Emailed Jason back and forth to see him that day, who introduced me to Ryan to talk business. I actually got to test drive the Speed3 because they had no GTs in stock with the 6spd. After that, I test drove the base 3 manual, and was impressed by both! Ryan and I got back and started talking and came to a deal within half an hour. Since I already had a number that I was willing to pay, he took it to the guys and they were willing to give it to me for that price. Extremely happy!!

Also, met Dave who took me through the financing of the vehicle. Amazing guy as well, great to talk to.

Skip a month later, the car I requested has reached the lot, since they couldn't locate any of my specs, they found one which was on the boat to port Vancouver. Ryan kept me informed of the status at all times. Obviously I didn't like waiting a whole month to get the vehicle, but I understood that nothing could be done if the vehicle is not close.

When I went in on Saturday to pick up the vehicle I met Ryan in the lobby where he took me into his office to sign the paperwork and be on my way. When paying for the plates/registration of the vehicle I also met up with Tiffany in the service dept who told me about the whole discount on service and whatnot for being a TM3 member.

Overall impression, Jason runs a tight operation and I will definitely be taking my servicing to these guys, and when the new dealership opens up, that's where I'll be going. Keep up the great work guys!!

You know you're taking your car to the right place when you're on first name basis with the dealer principal. Kudos to you Jason and Oakville Mazda. Was wonderful seeing you today.

I have never met someone as down to earth and friendly as Jason. For the position he's in he does not have to do the things he does. It just goes to show how awesome of a person he is and how it reflects to his dealership.

Continued success always - especially with the birth of QEW Mazda a few months away.

Oakville Mazda has has raised the bar in customer service.

I purchased my car from Erin Mills Mazda back in October which turned out to be one of the most HORRIFIC experiences of my life. Needless to say, they are not getting ANY future business from myself or others in the near future.

In fact, I wanted their damn license plate bezel off my car! They're not getting free advertising from me!

I read stories in the forums about Oakville Mazda's award winning customer service but it's hard to believe that any car dealership can consistently deliver with out a catch.

I called in and was greeted by John Boots in the service department who explained to me the details of their service in a very respectful and straight forward manner. I didn't feel any pressure on up selling services or products which was a surprise for me. I told him that I was a customer from Erin Mills Mazda and that I was absolutely disgusted with how I was treated there. He was very empathetic and told me that he hears that all the time and wanted to help to change my perception of Mazda by getting service done in Oakville. He even offered to change my license plate bezel with an Oakville branded one so that I can take advantage of all the perks of an Oakville Mazda customer (free car washes).

When I arrived I was kindly greeted by Katie Andrews at the service center who gave me a quick run down of my car information. I told her that I wanted to get my license plate bezel changed and asked if I could receive my free car wash as John discussed with me over the phone. It was getting pretty late in the evening as I was one of the last cars in the building and she told me they usually don't do it near the end of the evening shift but she decided to do it anyway which was very kind of her. In most cases people at the service desk would ask the technicians to go ahead and clean the car....SHE WENT OUT THERE AND HAND WASHED THE CAR HERSELF!!!! I was in complete shock that someone would do that. Talk about taking ownership of a customer. Katie even told me that Toronto Mazda Forums members get discounts and asked for my username if I had one. She wanted to make sure I didn't miss out on any events upcoming with the opening of the new QEW Mazda location. Very thoughtful.

Tiffany Garrett was the service manager that evening and was greeting clients in a very positive and friendly manner. Even though she was busy, she found time to actually talk to people which is a refreshing change. She asked me what concerns I had with the car and offered her expertise into the issues. Very kind and much appreciated.

Overall, Oakville Mazda has literally blown Erin Mills Mazda out of the water. It's the simple things that they do right that really make the difference. All you have to do is treat a customer the way you would want to be treated and look what happens, I'm writing a positive review on a popular forum where a vast majority of existing and future Mazda owners visit on a regular basis. I'll probably tell the majority of my family and friends to do business with Oakville Mazda either for a new car purchase or service in the future. Advertising through word of mouth is probably the most powerful way to promote a service. Erin Mills needs take notes FAST.

Thanks again,

Great review. Part in bold about the discounts is indeed true. They are listed in another section on the boards but breaks down as the following.

15% Discount on Labour
15% Discount on Parts
20% discount on all MazdaSpeed parts and accessories

The Labour is a bit confusing. It doesn't mean on regular service but for things that are "extra". Still, every little bit counts!

I was there last Thursday for 56,000KM service. Friendly as usual. Talked a bit with Andrew about rims, talked a bit with Jason about the new place and talked even more with Tiffany while waiting for my car. New service advisor (I think Katie?) was really nice and threatened to "beat" the techs if they took too long to wash my car :chuckle

They were even super helpful the next morning when I came in with issues on my fuel door. Tried to get gas, door wouldn't even open. Went home to wait till they opened, tried in my garage and it worked. Went to gas station a 2nd time, didn't work. So went over to Oakville Mazda to get them to look at it just to be on the safe side. Guessed it was just the cold and water but looked at it and let it thaw before returning it.

Talked to Andrew again to order a replacement part and a cargo net to be picked up next day. Went in next day after picking up summer tires and Tiffany offered to take a look on the hoist to see how easy it would be to change out the part I just got and decided, what the hell, while it was on the hoist, she would just change it for me. Said it was a gift since she kinda felt bad I was there 3 times in 3 days for different things.

Still impressed that despite me not being there too much, she knows my car by looks and makes an effort to come say high as does Jason when he sees me waiting in the waiting area.

Can't say it enough, GREAT place to take the car for service that's close by. When they move locations, might convince my mom to switch!

I purchased my 2010 MZ3 GT from Brampton Mazda, but I heard a lot about Oakville.
I have been shopping around for the 'Side Sills' for my car.
Apperently they only come on the five door sport model.
My nephew James, (Krakor) asked me to talk to Andrew at Oakville Mazda and I was surprised what a fantasic deal he offered me compared with other. dealers.

I will defenitely be there comes Spring to install them.
Too bad I cannot use their services more often due to the distance.

I went to Oakville Mazda on Firday for a Synthetic oil, lube and filter as well as a tire rotation.

As always, it was quick, courteous and fantastic service!

Katie was great to deal with. Very helpful and willing to explain what was done and what was recommended.

Had lunch with Andrew and John and RJ came along. By the time we got back it was all done and waiting.

Tiffany was great to deal with, as per usual. Always cheery and fun to chat with. (I loved her Mazda jacket!).

I always enjoy my service visits with them.

I am looking forward to the new state of the art QEW MAZDA in the spring.
I can't see how the service can get any better because of how good it is now, but I am looking forward to the updated look and feel of the new location.

Congrats to you all for another stellar job.

Thanks for taking care of me so well.

Had my 48 k service done there yesterday and like always Oakville Mazda never fails to impress. I had a leaking oil pan which was covered under warranty however it would take another 2 hours and I had my little brother with me + work so they advised me to wait in the waiting area and tiffany and john had a rental car ready for me in minutes. John called me within a few hours to let me know the car was ready and I could even come by the next day with the rental. I really have to say that all the staff at this dealership was very professional and friendly, their service team goes above and beyond expectations. Will definitely be taking my girlfriend there for her next car purchase

I went to Oakville Mazda for my 24month/48000km service this past Tuesday. I already knew that this service would be a hefty one since every 12 months, they need to do a few more inspections on the car so I was bracing myself. I was taken care of by Katie Andrews and she was super nice. I had a few coupons from the latest Mazda promo, but she advised me that the TM3 discount would save me more money than the coupon, but would still give me the binoculars (since I would be spending over $100). So I was fine with that. She told me that the service would take about 2hrs, which I was also prepared for (thank goodness there's Olympics to distract me with).

About an hour in, Katie comes to find me and told me that the service techs had advise that I needed a transmission flush, brake fluid flush and a new air filter. She also told me how much each would cost, and that each would have the discount on top of the cost.

Katie saw me just pondering there, thinking whether or not to do all of them or not, she suggested that I do the brake fluid flush and the air filter and do the transmission flush the next time I come in. Not really knowing anything and just trusting that the service techs are being honest and trusting Katie's opinion, I gave the go ahead.

The car was done, total time, in an hour and a half. Which was great, not that I was in a rush to go anywhere anyway, but I appreciate the efficiency of the service.

After I left, I was already halfway home when I realized that I never received my binoculars, so I gave Katie a call to see if it was alright for me to pick it up the following day, and she said that I didn't need to call for that and apologized for forgetting. I thought this was a nice gesture.

So I went back the next day and I was greeted by Tiffany, who was friendly as always, and I explained to her what happened and she said no problem and handed me a pair of binoculars. :D

Overall, I was pleased with the service done on my car once again. They were also going to wash my car, but didn't because it was already clean.

Next time I visit Oakville Mazda, they will be QEW Mazda!! Can't wait to see the new facility!

:) Good to see nothing about their service has changed. I'll be dropping my car off on Tuesday for a whole bunch of things (including that 07 rust prevention spray, and maybe that squeaking suspension TSB), and will be getting a loaner (Speed3 perhaps? :chuckle)

All I can say is that I'm truly disappointed in the customer service that I received, I went with Oakville Mazda because of the great reviews I've heard from people and TM3. Unfortunately, I guess I'm one of those people who get unlucky :(
I live in Mississauga and I will be going all the way to Oakville just to pick up my car, oh, I'm not even sure about when I can pick up my car cause I guess I was forgotten to be called back or followed up with.
I was advised that the latest time I could pick up my car would be Saturday which is today and possibly Friday.
Now I'll have to wait until Monday to know for sure. the waiting is a bit annoying but the part when I wasnt called back to inform me if I'm pick up the car today or not was the most frustrating thing, and I actually had to call them first to find out.
I dealt with a few people that was mentioned in threads, but I'm not going to name anyone, I don't think that's fair.
I was told that they have the Mazda3 I was looking for in stock, it's a 2010 so I wouldnt have to wait for it to be shipped.
I really really am frustrated with the fact that no one bothered apologizing to me, from the first person I talked to to the last.
I understand if its busy or what not, but I think I should have received a call just letting me know I can't get the car because I was promised that I would get it today at the latest.
It really sucks how I went through this because I was really expecting a better treatment from Oakville Mazda because the treatment I received from other dealerships were pretty bad.
I dont know, maybe its me, maybe it's because I'm young or something and they don't treat me seriously..but jeez, I'm still a customer right? AND I am willing to buy a car as well.
Also, I guess I'm getting a rental car until I get my car..:( *sigh*

Just a question though, if I buy a Mazda from Oakville Mazda. and my sister is also going to buy one as soon as she's done her road test.
Can I go to another Mazda dealership and still get a loyalty discount? Or does it have to be the same dealership?

Tale of the Sideskirts and Spoiler- Oakville Mazda Style

I had made an appointment during my 40k service at Oakville Mazda (on February 5) for installation of OEM side skirts and a rear lip spoiler that I had purchased that day from Andrew (Parts Manager) while waiting for the car to be done. Katie at the service desk was more than happy to assist me by making this appointment.

On two hours sleep (I worked nights the night before) I arrived at Oakvile Mazda yesterday for my service to be done. Was kindly greeted by Katie and John in the service department and proceeded to take a seat in the waiting room. I was a bit taken back when I checked in with John since he seemed like I shouldn't be there but regardless they took the car in. (Katie later informed me that she mistakenly booked me in for May 19 rather than February 19)

So as I'm waiting (being distracted by the Olympics on TV) I start realizing how long it's been- over 2 hours. So I start wondering. Around this time Katie comes to retrieve another person whose service is done and talks to me briefly. She tells me that the car was brought down the street to Ace Bodyshop (where the parts originally got painted) because they had never sent the brackets back with the skirts and they couldn't install them.

It's now going on 2:30pm and Andrew pops back to see how I'm doing and asks me if I had anywhere to go since it's going to take much longer than expected. I said I did - I had plans with another member on the boards in Mississauga at 3:30 so he said he will go and call Ace and see where the progress is on the install. I wait about 5 minutes then proceed to the parts counter to see the verdict. (This is where the story turns around)

Tiffany (Service Manager) is there and she informs me that Oakville Mazda will be paying for a rental car for me while the install gets completed at Ace. Now I thought this was really nice of them as I was expecting them to offer a shuttle service for me to get where I was going and then a pickup when the car was completed. Within a half hour I was in a rental car (after a visit to Ace to get my things- and a good thing I didn't wait as they just started to drill holes into the trunk when I was there).

The car I received was a 2010 Hyundai Sonata, wasn't thrilled about the car but oh well it was a car and I wasn't stuck waiting for rides to and from dealerships. And to be completely honest I've driven nothing but my Mazda 3 since getting it so it was nice to get a feel for another car.

This morning I called Oakville Mazda at approximately 8:15am and left a message in the service department. Within the hour Tiffany called me back and told me my car was ready for pickup. Was very happy to be on the way to getting my 3 back.

When I arrived at the dealership I was happy to see the car sitting outside, neatly parked and waiting for me. I inspected the work quickly and it honestly looked great. Was very happy with everything.

Went to the service counter and was greeted by Tiffany with a smile. She complimented me on my car and informed me that she had taken off an hour of labour costs due to the inconvenience caused yesterday. I thought that was very nice of her as well.

Just so you guys can see pictures of the results here:

Kudos to Oakville Mazda for making their customer the number one priority. Even though the story didn't start well it had a very happy ending. Thank you for everything :)

P.S. to Tiffany- I drove by the new dealership site- It's looking so good!! So excited for you guys!!!

Just wanted to clarify this with the forum members.
I believe the car was in stock; we were waiting for some information from the customer before we could finalize everything. Our staff called several times, even on their days off, but the customer's voicemail wasn't set up so she didn't know we were following up. I understand that everything was taken care of on Saturday and that everything is good.
If you have any questions, please email me directly at j.guttman@oakvillemazda.com (it's much faster than calling the dealership).
Thanks for choosing us!

I wanna know if prinsesa had call display on her phone.

It's true, that's very unlikely of Oakville Mazda to not call. I was taken care of when I bought my car. I remember when they can't get a hold of me thru phone, they will follow up on my email telling me to give them a call instead.

Good you clarified that Jason.

Had my first service done Monday of last week. Spoke to Tiffany. Mentioned that I was a TM3 member, and she placed my username on file so that I'd get the discount from then on, though it doesn't cover oil changes. I also mentioned that one of the plastic wire covers (? I believe that's what she called them) on the rear window seemed to have fallen off, and she said that'd get replaced (she was kind enough to come out to the car to take a look, and informed me of what they were, though I wish I could remember the description). She mentioned the possible HID recall as well, and that for being a member (either that or sporting the Oakville dealership plates), I'd get a free hand car wash. Also switched to synthetic, so brought my own oil. Tried to cover everything in the short chat before the car was even brought into the service area, but Tiffany was all smiles. She showed great professionalism and knowledge about the car.

Sat in the dealership watching some men's Olympic curling. It was kind of quiet in the dealership unfortunately, though it was understandable as it was around noon on a work day. No fresh cookies available, though I did take the last two oatmeal raisin ones sitting on the tray. Also walked around the dealership a bit (sat in the RX-8, admired the MX-5 wheels). Didn't see Jason or Andrew.

About an hour in, Tiffany came out to give me a status update on the car, which was a nice touch. 30 minutes later John came out (I believe Tiffany was on lunch) to tell me the car was ready. Was kind enough to redo the invoice as they had charged me for oil (which I didn't notice at the time). Paid, and came out to my now clean car, covered in a layer of snow... Unfortunately, didn't replace those plastic wire covers, but that wasn't a big deal. No fresh cookies before I left however :(

Overall great experience, can't wait for the move to the new dealership!

I visit Family in Oakville every couple of months. The service was good there so that's why I go back. But a free service would be nice... I'm looking forward to the baked goodies next time I go in...

Went into Oakville Mazda again on March 5 to repair my windshield. I thought that since Oakville Mazda has treated me so well, that I'd give them my business. I originally shopped around to Apple Auto Glass and Speedy Auto Glass for the repair, but I couldn't agree to pay what they asked. In my inbox, I had an email from Oakville Mazda thanking me for my business and if I had any questions or concerns to contact them.

So I told them about my little problem and Tiffany was able to set something up for me and assured me that it would be cheaper than the quotes I had received.

So I agreed to take my car back in for the repair and the Service team was top notch. Katie and John were both very friendly. However, the repair took longer than I expected (I was at Oakville Mazda from around 1.30pm to 4pm), but that's alright. Not everything goes according to plan and I didn't mind waiting it out.

Katie also told me that she didn't know what arrangement Tiffany and I had, so she left the work order on Tiffany's desk for us to work out. So I appreciated her honesty about that and I wrote an email to Tiffany the next day to see what we can do in terms of the payment.

Tiffany replied back and told me what the cost was and was true to her word and told me that if I wanted to, I can call in with the credit card information since doing it through email is insecure.

I decided to let her know that I would go in myself on the following Thursday to pay for the repair, and there she was all smiles. Haha. She told me that earlier in the day they went to see the new site and she was super excited about her new office!

Thanks for setting up my repair for me Tiffany! I really appreciate it!

Oakville Mazda's service is keeping my experiences with them positively different. Keep it up and I can't wait to see your new digs up and running!

Well what can I say? Another great morning at Oakville Mazda.

Today I had my new rims and tires installed as well as a tranny flush.

I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived this morning and John said to go back and look at the wheels.
The new guy, sorry I forgot his name, detailed the rims and tires for me even before they were put on my car! Great job!! Keep that kid!

As usual it was all jokes with Andrew. Good to see Tiffany and John. Jason popped in and came to say hello before he rushed off to another meeting.

I asked Giulio (The young guy with an old man wop name) if he was coming to the Wing night. He said he would and I dared him to show up in his wife beater to match his name. He said he would... We will see about that.

They told me it would take about 2 hours to get everything done and sure enough they were done on time. They were extremely busy this morning. The bays were full with cars before 8am! At least 4 or 5 people already in waiting for their cars.

(Thanks Lars for keeping the car clean!) - I like having their tech, Lars, work on my car. He's thorough and clean.

With everything done, I was extremely pleased with how the new kicks look on the ride!

Thanks again everybody for a great experience!

You know I'll be back!

Oakville Mazda is definitely the best dealer I've dealt with during the process of buying my first car over the last month. Other Mazda dealers didn't even call me back *cough* Orangeville *cough* after telling me they only had to check their lots, and after reading reviews on TM3 I'm glad I didn't go with them. The current Oakville dealership is great, the coffee is amazing (the coffee machine blew my mind) and the lounge is well-equipped (I didn't even know to look out for fresh cookies D-: ), and it's exciting that they're moving to a better location. Jason was in contact with my Dad via email from the get-go, and the price that was worked out beat other dealers by a landslide. Jason had emailed my Dad directly when he first started looking around for me (I'm fairly busy and have no car of my own right now to travel with) and I was very impressed with an owner email prospective customers directly, myself having no knowledge of TM3 at the time.

I test drove a GS while I was in and was immediately sold (was going to buy a GX with A/C originally), so I decided to shop around a bit more. The price at Oakville was still unbeatable so I decided on the Graphite Mica, and it's coming in next week :-D I've emailed Jason a couple of times (too excited to wait) and am also having tint added to the windows (35%), and Jason gave me a great price on that as well. My dad's so impressed with Mazdas and the Oakville customer service that he's already talking about a CX-7 for his next SUV.

6 stars out of 5 for sure, and I'm glad that I could find such a great dealer for my first car.

I'm not sure if this is this is the right place to ask this (Please let me know if I should repost in another thread), but I was wondering if anyone had gotten tinting done at Oakville since Jason took over. I've read many horror stories on this site about crap tint jobs (lots of times from dealers) so I just wanted to see if I was OK getting tint done at Oakville Mazda.

Has anyone had their door locks and hinges oiled with a sticky purple liquid at Oakville Mazda? They applied it last time I was there, I thought it would eventually go away but it's still there after three weeks. It looks bad on my silver car.

Yeah I have that too on my silver hatch. It is a lube and protector of some sort. I wish they would go back to the clear or white stuff.

Not sure if this is the right thread for this, but we are looking into this. I don't know of anything we use that is purple. We specifically moved to a clear lube for the doors because it wasn't as messy and it looked better. Stay tuned....

I wonder if there's any point even posting a good review. I think the pages of good reviews on Oakville speak wonders.

Anyways I dropped the car off today to get the rust proof service bulletin taken care of.
They arranged a ride for me right away and I was able to get home and be productive

Car was ready for me at end of day washed with lots of compliments =)

They also helped fix a side skirt that was sort of loose for me in the process.

Great praise as always

Hey Jason.

They used that pinky purple stuff on my car a few weeks ago for my last oil change.

That crap doesn't come off easily.

Maybe a car color coated spray would be cool for the new place?
Or clear would be fine.

I just bought my first car, and upon recommendations from friends on here I decided to go with Oakville Mazda. Not that I have anything to compare it to, but buying from Oakville was a terrific experience. The sales guy I dealt with (Aaron) wasn't pushy at all, which was refreshing-there's nothing I hate more than pushy salesmen!
They shipped my car all the way over here from Vancouver (straight off the boat haha) and it was here and ready for pickup within two weeks, which is a pretty good turnaround time! They put a rush on it as I needed it for work, which was greatly appreciated. My tint looks fabulous-I read a concern on here about the tinting at Oakville but I've got no complaints. Everyone I dealt with was always extremely helpful!
Oh and the BEST part of my Oakville Mazda experience...when I went in to test drive a 6 speed all they had available was a Mazdaspeed3. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G ride...

i'm not sure what the process is for thisone actually.

all i know is that it's a "preventative" bulletin. not really a recall or anything like that.
maybe call your dealership and have them run your vin to see if you're eligible

I wanted to take the opportunity to share my experience involving Oakville (QEW) Mazda.

Some of you know that I have been in the market for another car (preferably a hatch) and narrowed down my choices to 3 specific cars, which included the 2010 Mazda3 Sport GT. Over the course of 2 months, I have visited numerous dealerships, received numerous quotes, swapped numerous emails and phone calls, and lost plenty of sleep.

That was the case, until I crossed paths with the folks at Oakville/ QEW Mazda. The Product Advisor, Tommy, actually pointed me in the direction of Mazda back when I purchased my 2007 Mazda3 GT (at that time he wasn’t even working for Mazda). When it came down to it, I took into consideration how much each car cost, and compared it to what you get in performance, interior, exterior, and cost of maintenance. IMO, the Mazda3 Sport GT made the most sense as you get out of it the most for the $ amount you pay. I’ve never hidden my comments when I contacted all the various dealerships in terms of letting them know who I was working with and the scale of what was being offered. When it came down to it, the folks at Oakville/ QEW Mazda went above and beyond any expectations I had. The communication was straight and clear. The staff treated my family with the courtesy and respect that I would expect, and furthermore, there was no pressure being pushed on their end to get the deal done. I would like to thank Tommy (Product Advisor), Neeten (Financial Services Manager), Dean (General Sales Manager), and Jason (President) for their fantastic effort on a job well done.

Very nice!

Very informative session, honest and took his time explaining my options. Definitely will be dealing with Oakville Mazda regarding my Mazda from now on, goodbye Erin Mills, helloooo Oakville Mazda.

ps Jason was very proactive and responded to my message regarding booking this appointment and informed Mehran that I was a member of TM3. Kudos Jason!

My 88,000 Tuneup - Also had them clean the CAI filter, and change my fog light bulbs why they were under there with some silverstars.

One thing I did like was waiting longer than I initally thought I would - They stayed late... to wait! Why? They weren't comfortable sending me out in the car if it had a wet air filter. I always err to the side of caution, and its VERY reassuring that they do too!

Also had them replace both my fog light bulbs on my aftermarket fogs(which were both burned out), and they were worred that they still didn't work. They were ready to take it all apart, even though I had already finished paying. I told them it was probably a dud relay, and not to worry about it. (it was a very hidden in-line fuse which I solved when I got home)

As a note, I think I hold a record now - I still have about 5mm on my brake pads... And I have 88,000km on them! I attribute this to Bedding the pads when I first got them. It does harden them... (I.e. slightly less braking power) But I can still get the ABS going at any time, so its all good in my books!

Sales staff was informative but not pushy. Talked about the "itch" of getting a new car whenever a new revision comes out (i.e. 2010 mazda3)

So... Yet again, Oakville mazda re-affirms why I travel to a dealership that is further away than the 4 mazda dealerships in Peel Region!

I knew exactly what I wanted and what I wanted to pay by using this forum. Everything people say about Oakville Mazda is right. Jason, the Owner and President was very professional and extremely responsive. He always got back to me during the process. He even helped me with a complication regarding my grad rebate. Dean, the Sales Manager, was also a pleasure to deal with. As everyone else said, they are not pushy. Thanks to everyone for suggesting Oakville Mazda. I also highly recommend them. I love hearing great feedback about Oakville mazda - And even the negative, even if it makes my blood boil at the same time. Oakville (QEW!) Mazda is really good at learning from mistakes, experiences, and in general, if you communicate something to them, They do it right the next time. Kind of the Mike Holmes of Car Dealerships/Service shops.

That being said - All those repeat customers - Keep posting your experiences - Repeat Business means either: A) You live next door to the dealership, or B) Oakville mazda is doing something right! :-) ,

and its always good to new members to see the whole story!

I am afraid of the movie to be honest - But from what I heard from Tiffany, they're not going to really grow alot in terms of Head count - They might just add one or two more mechanics so people can actually take vacation now, lol.

So far so good. Placed a factory order March 20th, '10 with President Jason and his sidekick Dean Neilson. As President of Oakville Mazda, Jason is very involved in the day-to-day operation of his dealership. Since I live and work in downtown Toronto, he agreed to meet me on a Saturday even though it was his day-off. Prior to our meeting, he called me directly to introduce himself and set-up an appointment. He was very quick to respond to my email inquiries in the days leading up to the meeting and in the days that followed. He was personable and eager to close the deal. I think many of us appreciate the fact that he makes himself available and open to communication. It's uncommon to have deal makers actively involved in this forum unless your name is "The Biz."

After placing my order in March, new sales incentives were released by Mazda Canada. Since, I haven't taken delivery of my vehicle yet, he agreed to honour the newly released incentives without hassle. Like many others on this forum, it's always in your best interest to generate a purchase agreement with the company's primary decision maker. Fortunately, I was able to receive this level of service without being passed around or being left in limbo.

If you're prepared and understand how to reach a fair agreement for both parties, you should be able to obtain the ride of your choice at the best possible price. More details to follow in the months ahead. My new ride should arrive in the next few months.

I totally agree with everyone regarding the excellent service from 'Oakville Mazda'.
I got to know the Dealership through my nephew James (Krakor).
He introduced me to Andrew in "Parts' . I ordered the Side Sills for my M3 GT sedan and Andrew was super nice and prompted to get them for me. Unfortunately we did not manage to get them installed due to a dent the body shop discovered in the rocker panel. They refused to install the Sills saying they won't fit properly. But anyway, I ended up installing them myself No Problem. Andrew was very apologetic about it and I give him a lot of credit for that.
He is always so willing to cater and help in any way. "Jason" don't lose that guy.
I will definitely return to " Oakville Mazda"

Not sure if you all saw this but here is my post from last week.

I had my 48,000km service done on Friday at Oakville Mazda along with an oil change and tire rotation.
It seems to always be a pleasant experience for me when I go there.

I think it is the cast of characters at that place that seem to make it fun.

We have Katie "The Bookie" Andrews who always greets you with a big smile.
Then there is John "The Rookie" Boot. Always fun to chat with him. I should also warn you to never feed him. Just trust me on that one.

We can't forget Giulio "Clean-up crew" Machetti. He always gets my car looking clean and shiny.

One of my favorite's as well would be Andrew "The Connection" Pereira. He can be dangerous at times. I just bought new wheels and tires and he's trying to make me sell my stuff and get new stuff! My wife wasn't pleased!
Andrew just go with that story so she doesn't kill me! I'll call you later about the 18's *wink*.

It's always a pleasure to see Tifanny "The Fix" Garrett. She likes to chat which really helps the time go by. She is always fun to chat with.

Jason "Boss Man" Guttman arrived just as my service was being finished and he offered to take us to the new QEW Mazda location to have a peek! That was exciting.

My mother-in-law and my wife were with me at the time. It looks like my mother-in-law is buying a 2010 Mazda3 GX.

So not only did I come in for service, I sold her a car!

Where is my commission people!!!???

As I have said many times, I enjoy getting my car serviced at Oakville Mazda.
I am looking forward to the new location of the QEW Mazda though.
You should see that place! Very large and so many more technical advances then what we are used to from the Oakville location.

Good luck to the Oakville mazda crew on their upcoming move.

Thanks for the great service.

Yours truly,

James "The Solution" Ellul. :chuckle

Sitting in the waiting area in the new building. What an improvement over the old place, not that it was bad. Layout is great, very roomy, open and full of natural light. The parking lot isn't paved yet but the interior looks pretty complete. Nice new waiting area with a huge flatscreen also.

I had QEW Mazda do the 48K service on my '08 today.

It's nice when you can walk in and be greeted by name!

I got to check out the new lounge -- the TV is huge, and seats are comfy, but they need to get a few tables for setting things down, such as coffee cups! (Especially since they have a new coffee machine!) WiFi is up and running, so I was able to get some work done while waiting.

After the tech checked over my car Katie explained what they recommended needed doing, and why, no pressure selling here. I okayed the work, and because it was supposed to take a while I accepted the offer to be shuttled to work. My car was ready when promised and the shuttle guy came back and collected me up. They washed my car, and even dressed the tires.

Had my big 96K yesterday. I was in and out within 2 hours. Didn't even know I was there for an hour. Fresh Hot cookies, Big flat screen HDTV with a slew of channels. Same ol' Couches, Hard but oddly comfortable!

Went to sit in a mazda 6... but the door was locked so I reached in and unlocked it (assuming the battery was disconnected)

... WRONG. BEEP BEEP BEEP! The new place is huge, and lets just say the echo amplified the horn - Scared the bejebus out of me.

Other than that, Tiffany put my mind at ease when any other dealer would have sucked money out of me to "diagnose" some clinking noises I'm hearing around corners.

Robin was all smiles, Showed me the new garage door... which is SO FAST! I need a garage door like that! It'd help for those times where you REALLY gotta pee when you get home. :-) New detailing bay looks nice, but their detailer went home. My car was pretty clean anyway :chuckle:

Oakvil.... er... QEW mazda strikes again... wait... er... strikes for the first time... uhhh.. yeah!

Brought my car in for its 28 month/56K service to QEW Mazda a few weeks ago. I'm impressed with the new building. It's so much more spacious, especially with the high ceilings!

Anyway, went in for the regular service plus the transmission flush they had recommended the last time I service. I was in and out in about an hour and half, which was quicker than I expected!

I also told Katie about this rough grinding noise I keep hearing whenever I turned the car on or if I went into reverse. Luckily the tech, Daniel, was able to replicate the noise, but told me that they couldn't figure it out that day and that the car needs to be brought back in another day. This was fine by me as I know that they have plenty of other customers coming in.

So we arranged that I drop the car off on Sunday night and they can work on a solution on Monday. By lunch on Monday, I received a call from, I believe it was John telling me that my car was ready for pick-up. About an hour later, Tiffany calls me up telling me the same thing, but also explained to me what they had found. A rock wedged between the subframe and mount of the transmission! Weird!!

Picked up my car later that Monday after work and my baby was back to normal! No more grinding noise!

Thankfully, everything was covered under warranty!

To further the customer service experience, I told Katie that my gf and I will be out for lunch for a bit, and she recommended the Tin Cup nearby without us asking her for a recommendation! We took up her recommendation and the place was nice and with good food!

Thanks QEW Mazda for great customer service. Their excellent customer service carries over from Oakville Mazda! :)

Made an appointment with QEW Mazda for my first 4 months service this morning and they had time to service the car the same day. Very polite and professional staff. I appreciated the free wi-fi, cable t.v. and cookies (mmmm cookies). They said it would take an hour and a half to change the oil and rotate the tires, but ended up taking 45 minutes. Can't complain about that kind of speed.

I look forward to meeting up with them again in November for the next servicing.

So far the service and help has been great. Take my car here for most services, and warrenty work and have not had anything bad to say at all. Been recommending this place to my friends.

I met with Michelle and Dean last weekend. They were both super nice and Michelle and Dean were both no-pressure.

I'm still tossed up, mainly between the Golf and the 3 Sport, but I have to say if I go Mazda, I'll definitely go back to QEW Mazda. I've recommended that my sister go there for service, even though it's out of the way (I guess she won't - but I would. Just have a really good vibe from the people there.)

P.S The oatmeal raisin cookies are AMAZING! :headbang:winner

P.S.S If you didn't get the message.....DON'T GO TO ERIN MILLS!

After servicing my car today,(check review under Q.E.W reviews) I will defiantly be giving them my support! I know of no other place where you'd expect this, Oakville VW & Audi was my best experience before this and now this is a whole new level! Not to knock Oakville VW & Audi but it tells you the quality at Q.E.W Mazda!!!!! The atmosphere at this dealer is unexplainable it's like everyone there has come back from the best vacation of their life and got a cash bonus, there is not even the slightest hint of stress here or dissatisfaction with anyone employee or customer! AWESOME!!!

P.S got to see if I can con wife into leaving cottage early to hang out with car buffs and meet the staff that has made me so happy, which in turn makes her happy maybe the barbecue thing will convince her?

yeah maybe the car thing is not for her! But I hear your sarcasm loud and clear buddy, I realize at Q.E.W their work ethic and business practices are far superior than other dealers and because of this I realize everyone can get the same level of quality service they pay for! My poor experiences were amplified with the money I out laid for this product if you can understand that! I even questioned getting the best of the best so I would have no regrets later, but it seems even if I bought a mid priced sedan I would of be in the same boat just less out of pocket expense to cushion the bad service, and be able to have the who cares attitude. So Sarujo before for you start making comments think how you would feel spending $42g's with bad service and $25,000 with bad service which would make you feel worse? Nobody buys a new car without a warranty, they buy a new vehicle to have it serviced by dealer to have peace of mind within the warranty period, not to receive bad service through out this period.

P.S lets not get off topic here Q.E.W is a rare commodity and I will spread the good things about this dealer! My father is going to go get his servicing done there now too! Congratulations Q.E.W Mazda I have other co-workers who cannot believe the service I received and will be trying them out as well!

I would never blow $42k on a car, and if I did, it would probably be a BMW/Audi/Mercedes etc.

I/we are glad you finally found a place that meets your expectations! My advice to anyone is to lower their service expectations in Canada. Those who are been/lived/worked overseas will know exactly what I'm talking about.

Not sure what service is like overseas but in North America you should be afforded quality service where ever you go not just certain dealers. If I was in the market for a BMW 335 xi would be almost double a speed3 audi A3 is over $40 nicely equipped but lacking power. I believe you would be blowing more than $42,000 on comparable models you listed?

But Once again thank-you Q.E.W Mazda for a great experience you have given me, and in restoring my confidence in Mazda look forward to my next servicing!! P.S my father has booked his first service as well for this week to see the difference!

I just wanted to chime in here... Obviously a newbie, but I just bought myself a 2010 Mazda3 Sport GT from QEW Mazda, and I have to say that Ashley, my "Product Advisor", was absolutely AWESOME throughout the whole process... My wife and I first went in back during the G20 summit, since my wife was working from home and we could go check out cars on our lunchbreak... Ashley was SUPER friendly and incredibly accomodating... Even though it took us AGES to make our decision, she was *never* pushy and always made us feel like we were her top priority. Hell, even almost 2 months after our initial visit to QEW Mazda, Ashley remembered our son's name (we had mentioned it once) and the exact car and options (including colour!) that we were interested in. And on top of that, I mentioned off hand last week when talking to her that it was my wife's birthday, only to have a birthday card arrive from QEW Mazda 2 days later. TOP notch service, QEW Mazda has definitely earned themselves a fan.

After dealing with car dealerships since May, our experience with Ashley and QEW Mazda was a refreshing change of pace... Their no-pressure, easy going sales technique definitely earned them the sale.

To add to my previous post: On top of the awesome sales experience I had, Mehran, the sales manager I was dealing with today (as they've been hunting for a couple days to find me one in the colour I want) managed to find a way to make it worth my while to pay to have my car shipped from Ottawa, which was the only place they could find me one. ;)

AND, on top of THAT, I got a personal call from Jason, the president of QEW Mazda, just to thank me for my kind words here on TM3 (I had also emailed him) and to double check that everything had been sorted out to my satisfaction :) Top notch dealership, all around

You had to pay extra to ship the car from Ottawa? Isn't that what 'freight/PDI' covers?

QEWmazdaPrez
08-26-2010, 12:59 AM
Freight covers Mazda transporting the car to the first dealer. In this case, the only vehicle available was already shipped to Ottawa. The cost to get the car from Ottawa to the second dealer is not included in a freight charge. That's why some dealers don't look outside their area. They would just tell the customer that there are no cars available and make the customer choose a different vehicle. In this case, I'm glad we could grab one of the last ones available and make it happen for antifuse. He's going to be sportin' his new Mazda 3 soon :)

That's the 10 second info on Freight Charges!!

What Jason said. I'm just happy that I was able to get one in a colour that I wanted, and that the fine folks over at QEW were able to make it worth my while. Although my wife is convinced that I somehow cocked up this scheme in order to get her to let me add on some more stuff to the car. "Oh, honey, they could only find one in Ottawa... But in order to cover the shipping costs, the dealership made it TOTALLY worth our while with these addons" :P

And just as a final follow-up on my purchasing experience... Picked up my car today - it is GORGEOUS. I feel bad for the poor detailing guy at QEW though, he detailed my car yesterday, then it rained, detailed it again this morning before I picked it up, then it rained again! And due to an accidental mix-up in the amount due on the car, I actually had a cheque for too much money, which Ashley, my salesperson, pointed out and refunded. Gotta love that honesty, and attention to detail!

My Father had his 2007 Mazda sport service Aug 7th for regular maintenance, and he could not believe the attention to detail the oil change was done as well as the tire pressure and all the other things that most dealers skip on. To top it off they washed his car, put plate covers on, washed the car mats and vacuumed the interior! He was stunned to say the least and had free coffee and muffins while watching the HD in the lounge area! My father is a converted Q.E.W customer now and tells everyone about his experience, both our neighbors have Mazda 3 sports one bought theirs at Q.E.W the other will bring hers there now to after dealings with another dealer were not up to par!

2nd service at Q.E.W Mazda and was just as good as the first service!! The staff at Q.E.W are happy to work in conjunction with it's customers to resolve issue's with their vehicles. John Boot listens and relays info to technicians which then have the expertise to resolve the problems! In the two service's I have had at this dealership they have single handedly resolved all of my complaints with this car while working in conjunction with me! My first service resolved wheel hop, the first to second gear bang when shifted hard and the inconsistent shift pattern due to engine twist and turning under load! The second service was to address 2nd-3rd gear inconsistent engagement when transmission loaded,(W.O.T, quick shifts etc..) Q.E.W have the knowledge and the expertise to get the job done as my car now is the way it should of left the factory!! Just see Andrew from parts and John in service they are great and I know they can help you as they have helped me!!! I look forward to many more regular service as I currently have no issue,(knock wood) with my Mazda!!!!
My ZOOM ZOOM experience starts now and I'm loving it thank you to all the staff at Q.E.W!!
Superb job well done!!!

So I had to change out a few things due to popping noises coming from the back. However, didn't know it was that bad until I brought my car to QEW Mazda. After taking a look at it, Tiffany ordered a few parts for my rear sway bar bushings or stabilizer bar bushings. Not 100% sure but judging on how GREAT my car is driving now, I can embarrassingly say I was being unfair to my baby. Anyways, ordered the parts which came 3 days later, waited a quick hour and a half and it was all covered under warranty. Very happy with yet another QEW Mazda experience.

Thank you.

My advisor than told me that they will get an apprentice to help the tech to get the job done quicker.. After 2 hours of eating cookies and watching tv, the car was all done!!! That was 2 hours quicker!!! I was surprised!! I didnt need to go back and forth!! They even gave me a free water bottle!!! The only bad thing was their Wifi wasnt working and my laptop died after 2 hours :(.. Totally satisfied with my first experience!!! Awesome job QEW!!!

Brought my car into QEW Mazda today. Left with a rental. *tear*

My struts are blown, My bushings are toast and my dampeners? are in need of replacement.

In a nutshell - I need a new rear suspension. Fun.

Well, They sourced out Koni Yellows for me today, and are installing and going to have ready for tomorrow evening, so I can drive up north for the weekend. They gave me a rental mazda3 on the house, and have been super patient between me flip flopping between GR 2's, Stock and Yellows.

Bottom line - I'm ticked that my car "let me down" but I knew when I lowered it to expect less life out of the struts. Price is fair, and I was there at 8:10am, and had an awesome coffee, Hot gooey Cookies and watched the morning news. Love the dealership! Less impressed with the car at the moment - but I know I'll be glad to have her back.

Got my car back by 11am today - They dropped off my rental for me, so no shuttle bus for me!
TM3 Discount applied without question. Saved 143 dollars or something like that.

Now sporting Koni Yellows on the back! Drives nicely - a bit firm - But I'll be thankful when I have 4 people in the car!

Great service like usual - even if the usual faces weren't there - Tiffany and Robin were away! Their cover did a very good job - and even got some 950 dollar flashlights. :-)

Took my car into QEW Mazda today for an oil change and to look at a few minor problems I was having with the car (squeaks, creeks etc). Met up with Katie as the service advisor for this one and basically confirmed all the concerns I had written when booking the appt online. After about an hour and a half of waiting John came up to me and notified me of some issues and that parts would need to be ordered for one issue and for the other issue, they would have to take it to an upholstery shop to get it looked at or disassemled. Anyway, John informed me of having the parts tomorrow and that I was going to get a rental and be on my way for today. Katie showed up a few seconds later and gave me my other keys that were attached to the same keyring as my car key and sent me away in a shuttle to the car rental place. Overall, so far I am very impressed at the service dept and how they handle customer sat!

After a huge upset from Ontario Mazda, I went to QEW and see if I get a better service and I did.

Just for a comparaison chart.

-Ontario took 1 month to approve my rust proof repair, QEW took 3-4 business days. (John)
-Ontario said the boss of their body shop is in vacation, need to wait 2 week in order to make an appointement. QEW arrange the repair service for the the follow week.
-Ontario refused to get me a loaner car while my car will be at the shop, talked to the GM and the Service Manager, no help, they insist that no loaner or rental vehicule wll be provided, they can rent you one at your cost. QEW had no issue to get me a rental vehicule while my car is at the shop, covered under MAP.

I will never go back to Ontario Mazda again even tho it's 10km away from me and QEW is more than double of that distance, but I will still go there for a better and quicker service.

So I just dropped the car off this morning for my first visit.
And so far, all my expectations from what i've gathered on the forums have been surpassed!
I met Tiffany today and she was fabulous! Great big smile and very pleasing customer service.
I went in to get an oil change and a couple things.

To be honest, I don't baby my car, it's a daily driver that gets me 50kms each way to work and back home.
and at just under 202 000 kms, I didn't realize how much work needed to be done!

Tiffany brought up some safety issues they found for me, (about $1900 more than i expected to have to spend)
But instead of saying,"this is what needs to be done, and this is what you need to pay us", like I've experienced at other shops,
Tiffany actually sat me down, explained to me what each issue was, what it could potentially lead to, and even helped me prioritize the repairs and explained the imminence of each.

Tiffany really impressed me with her knowledge and with her customer care.

I definitely recommend QEW Mazda for all your needs, This place raises the bar for all aspects of the dealership/service experience.

My reviews of QEW Mazda (formerly Oakville Mazda) are starting to sound like a record on repeat.

Every visit to this dealership has been nothing but pleasant. Any Service I've dealt with from the beginning has been great and has always informed me if anything was needed for my car.

I took my car in last Monday for a routine 32month service and everything went smoothly. Met up with John at the Service counter and he just took me through the run down.

Sat in the lounge and had myself a cookie and went off minding my own business using their Wireless for Internet on my laptop.

QEW Mazda even washed my car despite the fact that it was raining outside.

Anyway, another satisfied customer and the dealership is still Positively Different!

Can anyone chime in if the service techs here cuts into the underbody shield to access the oil filter?

I was on the way to work and had to get off the highway this morning and heard a loud scary scraping. Scared the hell outta me! My underbody shield had fallen off, and was hanging on by two bolts.
I was able to find a little shop just off the highway that was kind enough to take it off for me as i was late for work. I did notice though when he removed it the the shield had been cut.

That's the first time the shield had ever fallen off so i was quite surprised. I don't know if it was reinstalled improperly

Oh and does anyone know how important the splash shield is? I've read some people haven't bothered putting this $130 PITA back on.

I HIGHLY doubt a QEW tech would cut into the shield to perform an oil change. That doesn't make any sense.
Post some pics of the cuts on your shield. Did you see the shop take your shield off? Are you sure they didn't cut it?

I did watch the shop remove she shield for me, there were only two bolts holding it in, he just reached under and removed them.

Another fantastic experience with the people of QEW Mazda. (I still want to keep calling you guys Oakville Mazda)

Went in for my 72,000km service. As per usual, greeted by the service counter by friendly faces who know you to see you. Got all the paperwork signed up and hung out in the lounge. Only downfall was that the wireless network QEW has wasn't working today and I brought my laptop for nothing. About an hour into my wait I briefly got to see Jason and say hi. Always good seeing him. Katie approached me to tell me that my splash guards had cracks in them and that she recommended them being replaced. Went ahead and approved the repair and a little while later my car was washed and ready for me to take home.

I also got a few free goodies while there (besides the amazing cookies and hot coffees/tea). It's really awesome to know that a dealership goes the extra mile for their customers. Like I was saying to Katie today, I've been loyal to Oakville/QEW Mazda since my car had to go in for its 16,000km service and I've never hesitated once.

Hats off to QEW Mazda!

Just had my 24,000 km service performed last week. My experience is nothing new, nor unexpected. This dealership is fantastic!

Had booked an appointment online the day prior for the service, but upon arriving at the dealership, found out there were some issues with the online booking system. Katie mentioned that though they were fully booked the entire day, they would be able to get to my car should I leave it behind. Unfortunately, that wasn't an option for me. It was at this point that Katie and Tiffany worked some QEW voodoo, and were able to take my car in then and there, give or take 5 minutes.

I had brought my OEM 2010 all-weather rubber floor mats, which I am selling (http://www.torontomazda3.ca/forum/showthread.php?48793-FS-OEM-Mazda3-All-weather-Rubber-Floor-Mats) to the dealership, as I had gotten some inquiries about their fitment in the previous generation models, and was curious if I could test with a used model on the lot. Katie introduced me to a younger gentleman in sales (whose name escapes me I'm afraid) who took the time to allow me to test fit the mats with a sedan (they fit by the way).

During the wait, I took advantage of the TV, wifi and couch to pass the time. I felt a little guilty eating most of the cookies, but I figured if I ate the older ones, there would be a fresh batch for the next set of people. Jason stopped by to ask how I was doing, and afterwards, Katie followed up to let me know it was just about to get a wash, then I'd be done. Two hours after initially arriving for my appointment, car came out clean (yay!) and ready for the winter (boo!).

My Speed was in on November 24-26th for a major service,(AKA turbo) the service was nothing but the best. The work done on my car was as if the tech owned the car, I received the car back 100% the same way I delivered it plus all work done. I enjoyed the lounge area and was given a courtesy car due to length of time. I was kept in the loop on the progress every step of the way. This shop is very well equipped to handle big jobs, the equipment is state of the art and the shop has plenty of room in each bay so there is no chance of damage occurring due insufficient space in between the bays. Tiffany was great and is super at multitasking, it just spins my mind how she does this. Katie was awesome and made all arrangement getting me in an out, and the interaction with Andrew in parts, Katie and mechanic's was great. As I have said before in this thread QEW Mazda cares about their customers, they take the time to listen in order to make sure everything goes smoothly on both ends the customers expectation, and what is required on the dealership side to be a superior and efficient dealer without sacrificing anything!!! In closing it is worth the drive wherever you are to received this kind of service day in and day out no matter how big or how small the job is, try it just once and you will see what is lacking elsewhere! I believe even if you brought a none Mazda vehicle in to get service they will still bend over back wards as this is what is instilled in the employees of QEW Mazda. This exemplifies customer service and all the definitions of it!!

I agree with the sentiments, but I don't think we need a new thread every time QEW Mazda does superb work. Otherwise, we might as well just have a board dedicated to reviews of the dealership (not the affiliates (http://www.torontomazda3.ca/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=222) one). Paragraphs wouldn't hurt either :P

EDIT: I might've seen your car. 2nd bay from the window?

i had my first oil change done a couple of weeks ago. Didnt have any issues and i enjoyed their wifi+free car wash, although the rest of my day was the complete opposite lol. I will suggest one thing, you guys (qew) should offer a oil change special+tire rotation special for $49.99 or something...keep up the good work!

When I was there I noticed the wifi was working, it was just locked and not open :( just thought they did not offer this for free? mmmmmhhhhh?

WiFi is free for our customers. Mazda has done some upgrading and changes to our router over the past several months which caused it to go down at times. It's all fixed now. Just ask our concierge for a password when you're in the lounge.

I was at QEW Mazda today to pick up some mats and I agree that these guys have the best customer service hands down.

I spoke to Katie, Andrew, John and Chris and I gotta hand it to them. Everyone there is just really friendly and helpful. Keep up the great work!

Bought the car used at 74500kms, at approx 78200kms, I decided to take it to QEW Mazda after all the positive experience I have heard and it was worth the drive.

John was excellent in communication throughout the visit. He also noted other stuff that could need attention in the near future. I like that because I can budget for it.

I also met Katie who was as helpful as John, very friendly and helpful!

Met Jason while I was there, a great guy with good humor. Very easy and nice to talk to, and approachable. He did mention how the cookies are delicious! Couldn't agree more Jason!

I got a freebie after the service! A nice coffee/cold drink stainless steel travel mug kinda thing with Mazda logo! Quality stuff!

Overall, excellent staff and service. Very friendly, knowledgeable and honest. I look forward to my upcoming maintainence service(s), oil changes etc at QEW Mazda!

Great job to Jason and team! :thumbsup

I went to QEW Mazda a couple weeks back to look at a new car.

I ended up talking to either Jason or John at the service area to inquire if they could take a look at my current car which had a leak on the front passenger side tire.

They not only looked at that one, they looked at ALL 4 tires just incase there was another leak! Great service! In the meantime, I was relaxed in their lounge and had a couple cookies! YUM!

In the end, I asked what the price was and he noted $0 :D
I was in shock! Great service:D

a little late but flawless work again by the people at QEW Mazda.

Brought my car in for the level 3 detailing package and was nothing but amazed by the results! The car looked new again... they made the interior look perfect and the exterior other than my self inflicted nonsense looked spectacular as well. Got there at 9, left just before 2. Had the opportunity to chat with the ever pleasant John and Katie during my 5 hour span there. I need to know if you like/what you like in your coffees because I keep showing up there empty handed!

Great dealership, great prices, great people... can't complain :)

P.S.- Russell Peters was fantastic John :)

About a month ago, Went in for Oil Change/Service!

Honestly, the honesty of this dealership STILL shocks me. My Brake pads have been at 3mm for 16,000km now, and every time I go in there, they tell me I should be able to squeak by with 8,000 more km. Most dealerships would just tell me to replace them, and take my hard earned money, but QEW mazda feel my pain.

Also, as I was driving into the service, I heard a weird (but loud) noise from the front of the car. Asked them to take a peek at my engine mount - they replaced it as well. (it was broken)

My timing was VERY tight, was planning going to the cottage on the thursday before the long weekend. Worked out that I just left my car there for the weekend, and picked it up on Sunday. They were closed then since it was a long weekend.

Took me until THURSDAY to realize I hadn't paid them! Drove in, Paid, and stole a cookie for the road :-D

Again, Most amazing dealership EVER. I feel like if I were ever to get a non-mazda, I'd still bring my car there. lol.

Bringing my Mazda to QEW before noon.
Car is rough at idle, and throwing codes left and right. (All related to the MAF sensor)
Hopefully their throttlebody cleanup, should do the trick. After 7 years, my car is in a major troubleshooting issue.. I hope I dont spend like crazy.

I would have brought it to street performance, but unfortunately the distance from my home to there is just too far to be without a car.

Wish me luck guys!

Update:
Car runs like a top again!!! It feels like a brand new car, and to be honest the Mazdaspeed3 exhaust growls more than the time I had it installed!

So to start off, John Boot, the service adviser as well as a member and good friend in this board got me in for service.
I have nothing but good graces for QEW Mazda and the team!

Intially, Car sounded like a jalopy, very similar to how you guys heard it at MOM2010. Not to mention bad fuel economy and rough idling. Luckily car made it to the dealership.

John was able to squeeze me in and took all my cars symptoms down. He got the mechanic to check all lines and connections. and still had same code issues.

checked Maf Sensor and the 02 sensors...Mechanic noticed 02 sensor was aftermarket which i had recently bought and had installed. This was one of the red flags for the cause.

Spark plugs where almost burnt which was replaced 2 years ago. (supplied them with new sets and they installed it) Second red flag for the cause

1 of the 2 codes dissapeared.

He then cleaned throttlebody and carb cleaners.

Car ran better but Still check codes appeared.

Mechanic then replaced 02 sensor and CEL gone...

John also checked out TSBs and noticed a reflash/upgrade to my current ECU.

The car feels and drives like new.

If you want to get things done the right way, look for a dealership that goes above and beyond!

I cannot tell you how happy and pleased with their service..

TM3 you picked a good sponsor for us!

By the way they also went above and beyond by cleaning my car top to bottom, and help increase my fuel mileage with seafoam.

John, Katie, Andrew, Judy, Tiffany, Jason, and the receptionist made me feel welcomed and their lounge with addictive cookies was getting me fat!

Thank you all!

*Although you pay more than a local shop, and can go above and beyond your expectations, it is worth every penny*

I have to agree that at QEW Mazda they
really look after you and your car.
I purchased my car from Brampton Mazda. Lately I moved to Mississauga, "Direct Mazda "is a walk away from my house, Went there once, not very friendly people, , although I have to say the service was O.K.
Now I drive all the way to Oakville and as they say: " It is worth the drive to Oakville"

John, Heather and Andrew are a few that come in mind, always ready to help you and make sure you leave the Dealership a happy customer.

Update:

I noticed a thread regarding bad ground wire on maf. I asked john and Andrew to have this replaced and here's the result:

Car is smoother
When you let go of the gas it does not stutter
The readings on the dashhawk are steady with no significant jumps (LTFT) it stays at 20%
Fuel doesn't burn as much if I drive quick upon acceleration

I can't say nothing but good things with these group of guys

Thank you again and thanks for fixing my fuel economy!

I went in today to have a full inspection done. I purchased my car at another Mazda dealer, but I wanted to confirm that everything was right before the 30 days were up. Really easy dealing with them. Super professional. My service rep ( I can't remember her name) Seemed liked she really cared about her job and knew what she was talking about. Their lounge is the best one I've sat in for a long time. I LOVE THEIR MIELE COFFEE MACHINE!. Nothing like really excellent coffee rather than the rap you get at most dealerships. My only gripe would be that they don't have BBC World on ExpressVu. You think Bell would be smart enough to hook them up with a free demo unit.

I drove out from Toronto because of all the feedback on this board, and will be taking both of our Mz3's out there for service in the future.

Final Update.

Car had a CEL of 2187, and 2177. (no issues with car just had the light come on last week)

Had the car checked out again, and John recommended to put back the intake, as he mentioned the car never had issues with CEL CODE and the intake on.

I put it back and voila! no more CEL issues.

He is still checking out the TSB on the airbox.

Conclusion.. it must have made a hole in the intake tube of the airbox when installing and removing the purge valve often.

Thanks again John and thanks for saving my wallet!

Took my car there for Oil Change - Done Quickly! Sadly, Tiffany has left them. I'm sure I speak for all of us when I say she will be missed!

Tiffany moved to a mazda dealership closer to her home. Family comes first - Don't blame her - But the loss is all ours! She was awesome!

I inquired about a warranty repair and help identifying a part. Unfortunately Andrew was on vacation but Judy and John took care of me! They went well out of their way to help me try to find this part (we're still stumped...). Will be back next week to get the repair done!

Definitely worth the extra drive to go to this dealership over Erin Mills Mazda...
