my car sounds like its knocking

ok i have no clue why. but im driving my car this morning and the car sounds like its knocking. but it stops after a while. not sure if its cuz its cold or what. anyone else have thsi problem

Can you describe the knocking with more detail? Off the top of my head, possibly a broken motor mount, loose wheels, loose top bolts that hold your struts (can't remember what the part is called).

its not when its driving but idling. when i got to work on sunday my car sounded like it was somewhat knocking. but i started reving it a bit, and then it stopped. but now it hasnt done it. however it was -3 out soo that may have been a factor of the change of weather. i will keep listening to it.

stupidest thing to check but i had the same thing and it was the catalytic converter.
