Finally beat the game after 9 1/2 hours of strict gaming. Now I have a massive headache. :bang Time to play online!

I haven't been online for a while, but I did pick up GOW2 yesterday. I haven't finished it yet though.

Far too many games came out in late October/November! I'm still trying to finish Far Cry 2. Played it for 9 hours and only 20% done, crazy! At this rate I won't be getting Gears of War 2 until next year.

I still haven't picked of GoW2. I will though, GoW1 was amazing.

I'm trying to finish Forza2 100% complete, that's my current mission. :)

How do you setup Horde multiplayer local? Is it possible or is it only for online?

Agreed! I think it was GOW1 I tried to do this on and were disappointed that splitscreen 4 player wasn't an option.

We set up a local network at my fiancee's bro's place and play 4 on 4. It's cool because he has a loft, so we can talk smack to the other team because they're only 15 feet away one floor down from us!

It's a great game. I haven't completed it yet but I hate the fact that you can't play split-screen horde online or any other multi-player game. That's even when you're signed in as the xbox live guest.

the storyline was pretty darn good. i finished the hardcore story 2 days ago. online is pretty good aswell. horde is def the best game mode, get a bunch of buddies and just rape locust ass.

Horde Mode is awesome. 50 Waves + 4 of your friends. Can't beat that.

Just a quick question about the game.

I am playing Mercinaries 2 right now. Love it.

I was thinking next of either Gears of War 2 or Far Cry 2.

Any suggestions, I have no idea of what to expect for game play from either of these.

Well if you played GOW 1, the main differences for the 2d one would be, Guns including how it sounds, it's pretty sharp, You have Horde Mode, where you can have 4 of your friends, and face 50 waves of Locust. Online is alot better, it went from 3 -3 to 5-5. You have more options online.



In terms of campaign, it's alot longer than the second one. The story mode is awesome.

Haven't touched campaign yet. 47 with randoms is the farthest we got in horde so far. Only played it I think 3 times so far. Now just execution and shit.

Enjoying the story mode.

Its less frustrating than the first one I find. I hated the first one with the big huge blind guy that could only be killed with the Hammer of Dawn. I couldn't do it myself and only finished the game in co-op with a friend.

Anyone beat Insane mode yet?

Having hard time with reaver that side swipes the rig.
