Car is going banana's! Damn PJB!( Passenger Junction box-$$$$$)

Okay, today did not start off right at all! I honked my horn at some guy and internal lights flickered. Sounds cool but it shouldn't do that. Constant ticking sound from under my glove box went off shortly after. Turned the lights to manual postion from Auto, then parking brake light goes on! Come on now, I'm totally awake and I'm thinking this car is posessed. Spoke to a few guys on here and they sais it is probably the passenger junction box. It is the heart and brain of most of the lighting and everything else electrical. Of cousre my warranty is way overdue and guess how much it is supposed to cost....$1500 bucks. WOW! My day went to the shits and the world could be ending, but I'm still thinking of the car at this point. LOL! Should I bring it in to get checked out (ie. battery drain)I now know what I have to do, but more feedback would be great.

I have modded my car with HID headlights and HID fogs and I've been told this may be the issue.

Has this happened to anyone else without mods (ie. HIDS, stereo, car alarm)?

Anyone have 2 cents on this issue?

Wow, I hope its not that. Did you check fuses and such?

Loose connection? I've heard low voltage on the battery can cause erratic problems.

If it IS the PJB, you may be able to pick one up at a car recyler. But... it would be nice to know why it failed, or you may end up toasting the replacement as well....
