Stock Alloy Lug nuts on Winter Steel Wheels

Will the stock alloy lug nuts work with steel wheels?

Or Do you need the nuts with no cap on the end for the stud to pass through?

The stock lugs work just fine on the steel rims Allen provides at Simply Tire. which are hubcentic OEM steel rims. Not sure if you'd have an issue or not with other steel rims, but I would think you'd be okay in most cases. Maybe others will know better than I.

I wasn't sure if the nuts would bottom out? I also noticed the steel wheels don't have much of cup for the cone of the nut to seat into?

There are hub diam. in the wheel matches the hub, just not sure if the stock nuts are fine?

My other vehicle has a cup in the wheel the cone of the nut seats into. Maybe Mazda is just different?

They work fine on any steel rims so you dont have to get the special rims Allen sells!
