Driver side window

On my way home from work, reached my under ground garage so i rolled down the power window and i noticed a strange sound..

Sounds like a ticking sound coming from the motor used to raise and lower the window.

It's a different sound when the window is going back up, but still a sort of ticking..

Is this typical of a dying motor?

I'm wondering if i should go right to the dealer, I did get a tint done from AudioHeaven about 3 weeks ago, but i'm guessing if it was a problem from the tint procedure it would have happened earlier and not now..


If i take it to the dealer they cant deny a service check casue i got my windows tinted after market can they?

take it to the dealer if you still have warranty. you have nothing to lose

That shouldn't matter at all. Your car is still under warranty.

now the issue is just finding time to take it in.. maybe i'll wake up tomorrow morning and the noises will magically be gone..

But yeah, sucks that service depts dont open on sunday.. I work prety much the whole week :(
