Hey all
Just wondering if anyone had any recommendations where to get winter tires this late in the year?
Everyone I called seems to be out of 195 65 15
Perhaps someone can help as I'm currently sitting deep in the doghouse with my wife for not taking care of this earlier...
thanks!

If you're lookn' for brand new, check the sponsors section (Tires23 or Simply Tire).
If you want to go the used route, check kijiji.

A lot of locations are jam packed with business, prebooked for installations and potentially out of stock. Best of luck in your search and please let us know which tires you ended up going with.

Just picked up 2 pairs ofMichelin X-ice winter tires over at Tire Discounter in Mississauga on Eglington. You should be looking for 205/55/R16's and not 195's. Buddy said they had only 8 left and i grabbed 4 of them. Not bad for price and install, alignment, and balance at $205 a pop. Try checking them out.
I went to a couple other places before i found this place by fluke. Good luck in your search.

Thanks for the help guys.
SFW, I live at Yonge+Eglinton but I'm willing to drive anywhere if you've got a good place.
I'm hoping to find something for under $700 total but beggars can't be choosers I suppose.

You can easily run 195/55/R16 on the MZ3 if you can't get 205/55/R16.

Has anyone heard of Saxon (Cooper) Snowblazers?
Allen has a few sets at Simply Tire but I can't find a review anywhere online.

Thanks for that
It looks like this guy wrote his message before testing the tires on snow and ice but I pm'd him to see how they're doing a year later.
Just surprised that this tire has virtually no references anywhere online

You should try and see if Tires23 has any available Triangle TR-777's still in stock...
A set of 4 Tires + 16" Rims should cost < $600
Gonna test them out this year, but i figure any snow tire is better than the RSA's.

Follow the above link for a comparable analysis between major brands.

He's looking at 195-65-15, not 205-55-16

I'm looking for tires in the same size. Allen has the Goodyear Kelly Snowmarks and the Snowblazers mentioned above, however I haven't found much reviews on either. Anyone have any feedback to share?
Edit: ended up getting 185/65/15 Gislaved Nordfrost 5s for my Corolla from Tires23 for $430. I'm a happy guy!
