Thank you so much to Tony and the guys in the Service Department of Select Mazda in Hamilton.

I rear ended someone and smashed up the front. You would now never know that had happened thanks to them. They took extra time to make sure it was done right but it's a flawless job, can't find any imperfections.

Plus all of them were super nice and they gave me the TM3 Discount with no problems. I haven't put my stickers on the car yet and they still upheld the offer of 17% off.

Just so you guys know what it looked like here's a couple befores:

And the beautiful after:

I'm very, very happy with the job well done. I bought my car from them and I will be going back for anything else I may need. These boys know how to do it right. :)

very nice. Looks good as new......except the license plate. Perhaps you can take it off and use a block of wood on top of it and hammer it flat. It looks rigid. But just my 2 cents :D

I know!! I can't believe the amazing job they did. Especially with the bumper crack.

It definitely was!

And we all know that the license plate was dented. That was due to my initial stupidness and unfortunately Mazda cannot fix that.

I should do what Kyle suggested and get new plates. Give those to my dad. He's still working with a set of three letter three number ones :loco:whoa

THAT IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I totally should :chuckle
And with my TM3 plate holders it would totally fit!!!!!

Are you talking about the repair? It was 615 taxes in. And that's after the bumper repair. The initial quote was 400 before taxes so I didn't do too bad.

Body work is always expensive though. And since I caused the accident and walked away with the least amount of damage, I'm pretty much laughing.

Why don't you get personalized plates with the letters "REAR NDR"?

LOL well I know it's just in good fun. But you just wait. I'm a much better friend than enemy. Like for example if you're going to the TM3 dinner I'm baking for peoples.

God this got so off topic.

Oh good stuff. Didn't know that. Thought I'd have to pay more than that.

What about my validation sticker though? Mine doesn't expire til May 09 so will I need to pay for it again?

Those are only on the back plates.

I know. But they won't reissue me my regular plates. They'll give me totally new ones.

At least I'm almost certain that's what Kyle was referring to.

Weird. I thought they would let you replace either of the plates and not both if you didn't need them. :loco

You think your plates look bad - you should see mine. I'm seriously going to get pulled over for the rust soon. So bad! But it gets you on the 407 cheap! I just can't part with them because they are the only plates I've ever had & yep they are the 3 number 3 letter ones.

My dad has you beat. He's still running on the 3 letter 3 number ones.

So am I!

You said yours were 3 numbers first. Unless I'm mistaken you are referring to this:
123 ABC

Well my fathers are

ABC 123

The three letters before the three numbers came before the numbers first.

Going back on topic:

Do dealerships usually call a week or so after they do your service? Select called yesterday to see if we were happy and satisifed with the job done. I thought that was nice of them.

Thrizzl3
12-23-2008, 10:31 AM
so your saying the line does't say yours to discover..but it says keep it beautiful

mbd
12-23-2008, 10:36 AM
No mine is still numbers then letters and it is still Yours To Discover....I think. You can't really read much on my plates any more. They are also bent. When I got my new car they had a hard time putting them on.
