Hey all, So this is my first winter in my 3. I got a set of winter tires from Allen at Simply Tire (thanks again Allen) and man, my 3 with these tires are awesome! (wanted tiger paws, they didn't come in, so allen hooked me up with snowmarks)
I had my car parked at the back of my driveway and wanted to just shovel the 10 feet above the sidewalk. Basically cuz I'm lazy and have no need to park that far back. After I shoveled, I needed to move the car. I somewhat kicked over some of the snow but she pulled through with no spinning or anything.
This might be nothing to be happy about but I went out to a couple places during the storm and it was like there was nothing at all on the ground.
okay. that's all.

I noticed a huge difference in traction with Snow tires. I get some slippage when the snow pack's into the treads, but it was like night and day in control once she was on all 4.
Don't be lazy and do not plow snow !

same here, I have been driving for 10 years now and purchased winter tires at the end of the season last year so really only now getting a chance to test them out. It really is night & day. I cant say i drive much differently, but nice to have that confidence getting out of a tough spot or not having to switch to 2nd gear because the tires spin lol.

when people say "I don't need snow tires"....I just reply "well I do because when idiots like you start sliding towards me, at I know I can get out of the way"

the factory tires are horrible for winter driving. I felt like an elderly person driving slow when I had them on for the car's first winter drive lolll

Another person with the snowmarks! I've got them as well and so far they seem to be pretty good. Looks like you like them a lot what size did you get?

I agree. Especially when it snows and you see those people doing 20km/h in the left lane.... GET PROPER TIRES OR STAY HOME!

GET PROPER TIRES OR STAY HOME!
LOL...
There is no feeling like driving around in a snow storm with snow tires... no more panic, no more stress...
I spent $1000 on snows this year... Absolutely no regrets!

I agree, I live in Quebec and frankly IMHO anybody who drives without the proper tires is an accident waiting to happen...
