Need your advices on the following problems..

1st problem: Handbrake does not work...

It was hard pulling the handbrake and one day it becames easier and practically too loose... Something went wrong with a cable... I went to the dealer and they told me the rear left cable had to be replaced because it was seized.. They said it wasnt under warranty because it is considered normal wear & tear. (it's a 2004! how can it be normal? Cables are supposed to last longer than that!) & on top of that they charged me the ridiculous diagnostic fees which are always too high considering what had to be diagnosed..

After, I went to the local garage to get it fixed for cheaper & they discovered the cable was seized in the left caliper... So they told me to replace the left caliper, left cable & the whole bleeding package for 700$ !...

The dealer never told me that & they still have charged me a diagnostic fee (a bad diagnostic...)

My question is: I'm still covered under the extended warranty. Should this be covered by the warranty & if yes, should I go back to the same dealer to ask them to replace the left caliper & etc...

2nd Problem: Engine vibrating

This problem is common I think among M3s... Saw a TSB on the Internet about Engine Mount #3 which could be faulty & went to the dealer to get it fixed...

1st visit to the dealer: Diagnostic = Not engine mounts... So they cleaned Engine throttle body & reprogrammed CPU for a hefty fee of 100$... The only problem is that the engine was still vibrating...

2nd visit to the dealer: Diagnostic = Not engine mounts... They compared it with another 2004 M3 and figured that the vibration was normal... Had to pay for that as well...

Problem is!!! The car is still vibrating & it's not a normal vibration... It is intermittent... & a weird vibration...

Please share your opinions on my problems & do not hesitate to help me!

My suggestion is to go to another dealer. They will have to check if the other components are covered under your extended warranty. They might have encountered the engine vibration issue before on other customer cars.
