I have a 2008.5 with luxury package and have the automatic climate control system. Recently I noticed that when I change the position of the air flow from the floor to defrost, I can hear the ""baffle" moving. I dont recall hearing that over the summer. Is this something I should be concerned about? should I take it to the dealer? Anyone else have this problem?
Thanks

When it's cold out... everything is cold, including the rubber seals etc. So things will sound different... does it still make the sound once the interior of the car has warmed up?

I guess you now have an excuse to show up a meet or two and do some comparative listening to your A/C mechanism! :)
Oh well, don't sweat it (bad, bad pun!)... if anything is wrong it will be covered by warranty.

Its normal. You should be able to hear a faint "whirring" or "shutter" noise when the system has fully engaged the position you selected. Also note that similar noises will occur when you switch from vent to recirculate settings. Hope this helps.
