Hey guys. i was jsut wondering since i saw this in a grand prix. the guy took the bottom of his back seat off and he had 2 batteries under there. that would be a great place for them, well still keep one in the front for the engine. no loss of power getting to the engine. but it would be more for the stereo. i was thinking of putting a second battery in the car. (no still haven't gotten around to do it haha)

so my question is. does anyone know if our bottom back seat comes off easily or is it tied down with bolts or screws and if so. is there any room under there??

lol just pull and it comes out but if my memory is correct its solid metal so i dont think it would fit there unless you cut into it maybe?

Have fun putting a battery inside your gas tank. That's pretty much always what's under most car's back seats.

I have my seat out now and to save you the hassle.... You won't be able to put a battery there. But you do just pull it out.

if i was going to do this in the mazda, would be the same as i did for my honda... put it in the trunk and make a small carpeted enclosure for it (simple stuff from home depot will suffice) and just put it there. wont take up too much room and alot easier to get to it from there.
