2008.5 GS: What replacement Fog light bulb type?

I need to know what fog light bulb type to buy for my 2008.5 GS, i got my fogs installed when i bought the car, so it was installed by my mazda dealership..

My fogs are not fully round like the older 3's and they are not long like the gt has, the best way i can explain it is kind of ovalish like what is shown in this link

Thanks, i did search the fourm and got some old threads, but nothing specific to the 2008.5 year so i just wanted to make sure i buy the right kind :)

I thought they take 9005 bulbs...but don't quote me as I own a 06 which takes a H11

The 9005 is for the highbeams i know that much lol... I've seen 9006 floating around in older threads, but nothing that referenced 2008.5 or my style of fogs..

No, I don't think so. But I think you want H11. 55W. Some people sell 100W bulbs, but those aren't recommended as they get way too hot.

H11 so the stock fogs are 55w? Im looking at putting in a 6k hid kit for my fogs as the price was cheap... Im going to get a 35 watt kit though.. Once someone can help confirm my bulb lol...

The 2004-2006 Mazda 3 uses an H11 for the foglights. The 2007-2008 Mazda 3 and Speed3 uses a 9006 for the foglights
