Hey Guys,

I have a 2007 Mazda 3 Hatch GT, and I am interested in powdercoating my rims before I have to put my summers back on. My main question or concern is "will I be able to return my car once the lease is up with the powdercoated rims?" I'm not sure if OEM wheel modification such as painting is allowed on a leased vehicle.

Thanks in adavance for your help guys.

First off, if your rims are in good condition. you will have absolutely NO PROBLEM getting someone to trade their stock with yours if anything. Powdercoating cost around 500 i think so you can even sell your rims and buy stock ones and still keep the profit.

Keep in mind a lot of us here have aftermarket or rims from other cars so chances are someone has some OEM ones sitting around somewhere

AFAIK, you can return them powdercoated though it would help if they were in mint condition.

I think someone in the sponsor section does it. Not sure how much they charge though.
