hello everyone; I have recently put a turbo kit on mazda 3 2004 automatic, and i have gone through 2 transmissions. I don't have any complaint about the turbo kit, it's just my transmission on fourth gear slip whether on d or on manual, but if i go above 80 miles per hour is ok. Anybody has the base map for the mazda 3 2004. i will have pic of my 3 as soon as the weather gets warmer.

If you want to stop transmission slip, get a manual and a stage 3 (or stock Mazdaspeed 3) clutch.

Or get a built transmission...likely would work out to the same price.

That still doesn't help the problem of owning a fail-o-matic. :chuckle

lol oooooo ok..

back on topic tho..depending on if he has a high flow pump..the amount of power the boost the engine gets is too much for the stock auto tranny...he'll need a rebuilt one that can with stand that kind of power

time for a new car.

Turbo kit + automatic = fail.

the automagic just wasn't meant to handle the increase of power and torque.

If you already went through 2 transmissions....that's a clear obvious sign.

Manual Trannies should have more tolerance, especially with a better clutch.

How much power are you getting out of the turbo?

Have you looked into replacing your torque converter and possibly strengthing your gear set?

Do you have the gears from your old transmission? I have contact with a place the cuts gears and may be able to quote you a replacement set made out of a stronger matterial.

If you have your old 4 speed transmission, I may be interested in buying/borrowing it from you for some R & D.
