Sort of a mixed bag here

Pros:
-Polite staff
This is big; I made it abundantly clear how much I was willing to spend and got what i wanted with little in the way of negotiations. My only complaint is they couldn't cut me a deal on the colour I wanted; More on that later.
-Act together
I got the distinct sensation of, well, other than desperation and them wanting to kiss my feet for a sale, that they were decently organized FOR THE MOST PART (more below)
-Test drive management
I've been on test drives where I've been yelled at for an aggressive lane change. I felt I was firmly in control; though I was given directions due to being less than familier with the area. As my salesman said, it's a test drive and not a drivers test
-Never felt crowded
I never had a swarm around me, neither of customers or multiple reps

Cons:
-High pressure
its car sales, this isnt a surprise, but I always got the OMGYOUNEEDTHISEXACTMODELWEHAVERIGHTHERE from there. I was also slightly misled (claimed the gearbox on auto and manual GX is identical on 2008.5 sport) but not ab ig deal. They had a good guy on me in the wrong way in the sense that I felt pressured into the two stipulations I wasnt as comfortable with (colour and transmission). I blame myself for this though
-Better tech support
Rep I was with had a broken printer and we had to wait for another guy's printer to be free.
-Cheap gong ;p
I sorta, uh, broke their gong <_<;

Also I probably could have haggled for what I wanted but i feel i got the rate and term i wanted, and with air conditioning which was a perk i didnt expect i'd be able to afford.

Basically i traded colour and tranny i desired for AC.

I just purchased a Mazda 3 Gt with luxury package from them. The deal went smooth. My only problem with them is when we went to sign the deal there was a "calculation" error done on the contract than kfully i was paying attention.

I refused to bang the gong:bana2

I beat the crap outta that thing when I was there. My dad left me and went outside out of embarassment.

had an issue here, shouldn't apply to most, but it is relevant nonetheless. Not sure if this is being fleeced or standard operatign procedure:

Could someone delete this? I feel I'll need to repost after my fun ordeal with my deposit.

It won't be deleted, but you can feel free to add any updates to it if you like.

Let me know if you still want a Mazda3... :)

I likely will, but I still likely wont be approved for financing.

maybe... maybe not..

I am pretty good at what I do, it wouldn't be the first time that I had gotten someone approved that was turned down elsewhere.

LOL at the Gong.........I also refused to hit that because for me it's way too loud, so I told the salesperson to hit it instead.

Erin Mills Mazda is probably the worst dealership that I have gone to. I purchased my car from them in 2007 and it went "well", but I'm sure I could have gotten a better deal.

Ever since then, they have gone completly down hill. Their customer service skills are childish, and their service/parts department is very unprofessional, and I dont think I will ever go there again, untill they get new management.

Very sad, because they are the closest dealership to me, and I refuse to go back untill they pull up their socks.

Mississauga Mazda was pretty good, but they closed. I am an Oakville Mazda customer and have been for years (when living in Oakville) and they have only improved more and more!

Mississauga Mazda (well I should say Honda now) was wicked. After I got my 3 at Erin Mills, I got all my work and parts done at Mississauga Mazda they lowered my car for me too. Just like you said after I bought my car it went downhill.

I believe they opened up another Mazda near old Mississauga Mazda dealership
