Hi guys,
I'm looking into purchasing HKS SSQV with recirculation adaptor.
I see that Street Unit has bunch of parts that I need to purchase for extra, which is confusing me..
There's SSQV Adaptor Flange Kit, then Recirc Fitting, and then there's the actual BOV.

So are there any sponsors who carry HKS SSQV, and can someone enlighten me on what I need to actually buy to install the BOV in Recirc mode on my otherwise Stock MS3 with MS CAI?
I would like to purchase the kit from a local TM3 Sponsor!

Plus, Question for MOT reps, would MOT void my warranty for installing the SSQV BPV? I have been using your service dept ever since I got my car in Aug 2007.

Thanks guys!

I recall Rick/Garage16 said in another thread he deals with HKS. I suggest PM'ing him.

Scarboro Mazda has never said anything about my mods, including the Forge BPV (which was my very first mod). Baie-Comeau Mazda asked me what I had in the car as they have never seen more than the MS CAI, lol. Really small town and all, I was in there for an oil change visiting my Fiance during Christmas week. They seemed to like the mods I have, said it sounded really good. Took it in with the AP on and everything. :chuckle

I got the Mazdaspeed specific HKS kit from JRP. $375 I think. Came the proper adapter and everything. My dealer has never complained about the BOV.

why you wanna spend that much money for HKS if you are still looking for a BPV? turboX,turboSmart are much cheaper and work the same.

Yeah I do like the sound of HKS in recirc mode...
Plus I like the SSQV architecture, which makes it sensitive to release pressure but less prone to boost leak.. all out of the box, no adjusting, etc.

But I do like the Turbosmart dual port sound too!

Cars that run a air-mass sensor with a turbo setup must have a hose from the blow-off valve back into the intake pipe

If you dont have that hose and just have the air coming out of the blow-off valve to the outside will tend to make your engine jerk
