I'm a noob here and a first time Mazda owner. My brother owns a Mazda6, and I was with him when he bought it at Erin Mills Mazda. All I can say is, Erin Mills Mazda turned me off of Mazda's in general because of the sales pressure and just inconsiderate tactics they used to sell the car. But then again, I had a similar experience with Woodchester Nissan (also in the Erin Mills auto mall).

Anyhow, my lease is up in a few months so I started looking for a new car. My first choice was the 2009 Mazda 3. I emailed a bunch of dealers (excluding Erin Mills Mazda!) and Graham from Oakville Mazda was the first to reply, so we decided to drop by the dealership.

The dealership is not too far from me (I'm from Milton), but a bit hard to find. When we got there, the receptionist quickly took my name and paged a sales person to help me out. Graham also came out and greeted me, and within 2 mins. out come Atique to help me out with the car. I took a couple of cars out for a test drive, one automatic and another standard. Both drove nice, but the standard really got me excited! (Mazda 3 GT). So, after a very painless negotiation, I decided to go for a CWP GT!

All in all I'm very happy with my purchase experience (they even helped me get out of my lease with Woodchester Nissan!) and now I'm just waiting for the car to be delivered at the dealership for pick up. One thing I would've liked is for them to follow up on special offers posted on their site. One offer there was for a $250 gas card or a portable GPS when you buy a new car in
February. Atique kind of offered it to me as a "gift" but took it back before the deal was done.... :( It would've been nice to have gotten that... :(

Other than that, I would happily recommend Oakville Mazda to anyone who's looking for a new car this year! GREAT DEALER!

I thought I read on another post that Oakville Mazda was moving?

Is that an old post, and if not - where and when?

TIA

Was in there today to drop off a box for the TM3 Food Drive. Saw Andrew, Tiffany and Graham as per usual. Tiffany graciously took the box.

I really hope the employees of Oakville Mazda can help out to our cause!

And it was awesome seeing Tokyokiller there. Unfortunate circumstances for him but Oakville treated him awesomely.

Oh, so the new location is not even built yet. Thanks for that. But can someone tell me where the new location is going to be - and when?

I'm just wondering if the new location will be more convenient for me to attend.

Not going to be too far from where it currently is. Might be a bit easier to access. They have the land, just need the building XD

Talk about unfortunate...so I drive out of the dealership and get on the highway, and the car is even worse now :(, the vibration is noticable as a passenger too now, and the brakes are weird...they brake immediately when I press on them, like too hard.

Sigh, Lexus on the Park is going to hear it from me until they make things good for me.

Oh, and the clicking noise is still there when going over bumps, even though the F-R Engine Mount was replaced.

As for you Angela, it was great seeing you there too...I wish things were more smooth, could've went for a coffee instead of dealing with the issues.

Awesome dealership btw!

Everytime I call them I get really good customer service and their shuttle service is good too. Been there a few times now and no complaints so far. Well, I wish it was a bit cheaper but I guess all dealerships have similar rates. Going there again tomorrow to get my alternator looked at.

Major complaint, Was at Oakville Mazda on Saturday this time not for any service, but to help out a friend that wanted to buy a used Mazda 3. BTW. Graham, thanks again. Anyway, off I went to grab a coffee & one of Oakville Mazda famous cookies, as to my surprise I couldn't help noticing how small they were, they look like samples of the real ones they bake. I understand times are tough, but why cut back on the cookies. I was told that there trying a new batch of cookie dough called Hermits Cookies.

So I have decide to start a petition

You are hilarious Gary! I was there this morning picking up a paint pen but didn't happen to notice the cookies. I will check on Friday though when I'm in for my 16k service.

The hermits are definitely not popular. I'll have to persuade the bossman to go back to good old fashioned chocolate chip! :)

no cookies right now. Sorry Gary. Can't report back to you.

But I am currently sitting in Oakville Mazda getting my 16k service done :) and using their free wireless Internet access :D

They took my Mobil 1 with no issue, they ASKED if I want my tires rotated, and everyone is and always has been super awesome here.

Baby is up on the mount right now. Hopefully they are treating her well. But really I am not worried. If they treat the cars half as good as they treat the people who drive them there's nothing to worry about!!

Sorry I missed you. I ran into the dealership around 2:15p.m. and had to leave at 2:45 p.m. to drop my mother at the airport. Email me when you have a chance to let me know how everything went.

Here's the scoop on the cookies: 1) Smaller is better. You can take more than one you know :P 2) If there aren't any around, ask the Concierge to make some! 3) We're getting through a list of about 12 flavours to try them all. So far, the oatmeal raisin, white macadamia chocolate, chocolate chip and chocolate chip pecan seem to be favourites.

They are definitely worth it! Make sure to introduce yourself to Graham (General Manager- office is by the front door to the showroom) and Tiffany if you haven't been there before. They are awesome people to meet!

Got my 24K service done today.... what can I say... everyone is friendly, the work got done in good time, and I had one of the excellent cookies! And having wifi available was great, as I was able to skip out of the office to get my car done and still keep up with work!
