sub install problem

just a question, so i hooked up my amp and subs to my factory hu with a stinger LOC. everything works fine and it pounds only thing is when i turn on my head lights at night my amp and subs turn off. is there something i wired wrong or did i just totally f*** up my system?

The remote wire that turns the amp on is wired to the spot. Find a 12VDC supply that turns on when the ignition does.

where did you get your remote turn on? how big of a power wire did you use?

thanks I think I'll use the lighter as many of you said.
I hadn't really thought of it when I as installing everything. Not only that it was disgustingly freezing outside and my hands and feet were numb. but yeah i'll try it out this weekend. thanks again

i actually didnt get the cance due to the rain i should of done it on friday but already had plans. my garage is packed and wouldnt be able to fit my car in there at the time. but im going to try again this weekend if the weathers nice
