Old school here, just bought Protege ES (live downtown, just needed small car to zip around town), got great deal on a loaded P with very, very low miles, previous owner was older couple downtown who basically let it live in their parking garage.

Dealer servicing. Seems a hot topic. Have been driving Subaru for a few years (Mazda before that), my Subaru dealer downtown gave the most amazing service.
I've read A LOT of bad about Mazda dealers; so far, the most consistent positive news has been about Avante and MofT.

I live near Downtown Mazda and not far from Gyro, neither seems a great option. Anyone have recent experiences with these two?

Oil change Downtown is $39.95 with basic check of car (Subaru charges less, surprised me), is price consistent across board or does Downtown charge more for servicing just because it's downtown?

Any input appreciated. I prefer to have my cars serviced at a dealership.

Thx

TO Protege forum: www.toprotege.com

As for servicing, I think $39.95 is a pretty standard price. You can always as FLIPDADY (Joe, Parts at MoT) to see if he can get you a quote. Maybe even Jeff-TheBiz might know.

As you've probably read, Downtown Mazda isn't exactly well received here... I don't see too many threads on gyro though.
