werid sound coming from front suspension

so i got my car lowered a few weeks ago. Prokit + KYB and today i started hearing weird sounds on my front suspension. Every time i hit a crack or a bump, there would be this weird noise. i really dont know how to describe the noise but it sounds like something is lose. anyone have a clue what it could be?

Try and describe the 'weird noise'. Crunching, squeeking, groaning, clicking? Could be many things. If you can describe the sound better, we could probably give you some pointers.

Who did your install? I would say take it to Jimmy for him to have a look.

its not the clunk noise, i fixed that when i changed my suspension. it sounds like something is lose, i guess you can say a click noise. every time i would hit a crack or bump it would do it. i hope its nothing BIG this time. but if anyone knows what im trying to say, and knows whats wrong with it, let me know please !

Clicking? Possibly any of the following:

Loose nuts/bolts in the upper mount (or anywhere else for that matter).

Balls might have fallen out of the upper strut bearing.

A far stretch, but the springs might not be seated correctly.
The best thing to do is go to Jimmy and ask him to take a look, but also ask him to torque down all of the nuts that were removed for the install.

Did you just get springs or did you have struts installed too?

I'm guess is the strut blew out, since you just lowered the car.

Take it in and get er checked out.

^ good point. You should see some oil / wet spots if the strut blew out. Check around the struts to see if there are any oily / wet / dark area's. This will be a good indicator. But I would say you should still take your car in and let someone have a look at it. Better safe than sorry (or worse).

it cant be the struts !!! i got new ones along with the prokits. KYB GR-2 struts. it cant blow out on me THIS fast, can it? i called jimmy today and he said hes all booked up till next wed !! dang !

okay it sounds like a rock is in the front end rolling around but i know its coming from the suspension. something is lose and i cant find out till WED ! omg ! jimmy all booked up =( booooerrrs

went to jimmys today, found out what was making the sound and fixed it. it was one of the bolts for the strut mount that came off and the strut got lose. it was nice seeing those 11 mazdas there today one after another.
