Caliper colour suggestions.

Planing to get the calipers painted on my new 3..

can one of the resident photoshoppers please take a minute and help me decide.

Trying to decide between:

Blue, Red, Yellow or match the car with Graphite Grey.

Because if so, my vote is for yellow for sure! It would make the nicest offset.

Yellow would be interesting. I would have to go with red though. Your reflectors in the rear tails are red also and I think red will look good against a dark coloured car.

Pretty sure red would be the general consensus. I'll be finished work around 3am or so, i'll give photoshop a whirl after that.

Even tried to shade the calipers to make them more realistic.

I'm for the natural "rust" look like mine has going! That or the colour of the car. I'd rather the eye was drawn to the RX8s than the calipers, it not like they are high end, they are just stockers... IMO

Yup, my personal opinion (take it as you will) is that the red calipers on otherwise stock cars (trying to imitate a brembo rotor) are trying too hard to be something they are not.

If the car was red, i'd say go for it, but it's not!

Again, it's all down to personal opinion.
If you like the look of the red, go for it. It's your car, and you'll see it the most out of anyone every day. So do what makes you happy!

I think the red would look good because of the red tail-lights, reflectors, etc.

I didn't really think of it being a Brembo knock-off.
It just looks good.

Jeff, I also second the gold (not that I'm biased towards it!)

Red looks great, but can also feel very racy/track edition. I think the gold would be a great accent without being over-the-top.

I'd choose a color you can have a theme with. Something that matches your rims, mods, and trim. But my vote is red.

I am quite surprised how well mine held up. I didn't do a lot of prep last year, and after cleaning them this week they look great once again! There were a few minor chips but mostly on the lower portions and not noticeable at all with the gold colour :)

I think black or red is a safe bet. When you put those RX8 rims on you'll see more of the caliper.

It depends on how you're gonna mod your new car, as of right now I'd say red because of the red in the reflector in your rear light housing.
