Yesterday as I was pulling into my driveway I noticed that some idiot has scraped my bumper and left very tiny scartches it on it, anyone know a place where I can get this taken care of? you can not see the scratches unless ur 2 inches away from it, no paint has peeled off but the paint is very very lightly scratched and its very light gray, the space is 3-4 cm by probebly 1 MM high, I called a auto body shop and they said 2 bills to repaint the whole bumper , I am not sure if they understood what I meant, its VERY VERY lightly scratched, u can not see it unless ur 2 inches away from it, if anyone knows approximatly how much this is going to cost or if I can remove it my self please let me know, Iam really picky and I can not stand scratches!!@!@!!!!, please post any shops that you know

From what I know...most people that fixes bumper...even if it is a small one scratch...they paint the whole bumper so it can match with the paint again...
If it that small, just touchup paint and fix it? Cause I'm not sure if they will deal with something so small of a problem...
But I could be wrong :bang

There is the following as well:
- Nu Finish Scratch Doctor
- Meguiars Scratch X
- Mothers Scratch Remover
Not sure what else there is, or which is the best one

Some rubbing compound might take it out!
Most detail shops can fix it for ya....But it might not be much cheaper then painting it.
You can try your self to remove the scratches with megauires scratch remover 2.0. I am going to try this stuff in later in the spring to remove some of my scratches on my car.
If you also search their is a thread that i started a couple of weeks ago about removing scratches and alot of the guys posted alot of good info about this topic.

thanks everyone for your imput, I purchased the Scratch X 2.0 from crappy tire for around 16 bucks taxes in, after 5 mins the scratches shown above are 95% gone. My family car was recently hit and scratched also, it removed about 90% of that scratch. it was pretty deep but it did a great job overall.
you can not see it at all unless ur 1 inch away from the paint looking directly at it, everyones input helped allot.
heres the product if anyones interested.

ScratchX is a filler. Only problem is that once you wash your car there it is again. You want to use a sealant or wax on top of it.
