Just had a small service done and felt I would post up my review.

Just a note, I've never owned a car with warranty before. My warranty has always been me. When my others cars broke or needed service, I brought it to me, and I would fix it. My customers service department was terrible, and I usually took too long to fix the issues.

That being said, as I read more about these cars over the last month or two, I've been checking over some of the common issues. One of which was the passenger side motor mount. I found out last weekend that mine was indeed done for. It hadn't failed *yet*, but the liquid was long gone out of it and the rubber was dried up/cracked.

I emailed Nick at Scarboro Mazda who had given me his address some time ago when I called for advice.
I let him know that I was pretty sure my motor mount was in need of replacement, and was checking if it was covered under the MAP warranty my car has.

He confirmed that it would be covered following a diagnostic by his service tech. After a couple of emails back and forth, he had me come in the next day at 4:30.

I showed up just on time, and his tech came out to look at the motor mount.
The whole process took about 5 minutes tops from the time I parked my car until I was driving back home.

He had me sign a request for warranty coverage (that he would have to send off to Mazda to have it approved) and informed me he would be in touch, and was hoping to get the part in/replaced by Friday.

Friday afternoon I emailed him with a quick follow up, and shortly after he responded back saying my part was in. I called him up at 3:30 saying I was just finishing work and could drop by in 30, which he said would be no problem.

Once I got there, I waited maybe 20 minutes or so in their showroom area, watched some TV, and was then told my car was all done!

Signed a work order, got my copy of the work, and drove out of there.

I would have to say the service was great from start (first contact) to finish (driving away and noticing the difference in the car).

The whole time I never had a doubt or a moments hesitation in anything.

Overall, very happy with the service, attitude, timeliness, customer care, communication and environment.

Will definitely be a return customer.

Thanks again Nick!

Nice!

Any chance you have some folks that do the Autoslalom series? I saw some pics on your garage website that looked like a speed6 doing AutoX.
May 3rd is supposed to be quite the event!

Lol that was me at the Mustang/Camaro Shootout a few years ago. It was too hot out to take my Mustang, so I took my Speed 6 on street tires. My crew chief and some of my team still run autocrosses, and I usually make one or two appearances a year at the Twin Lakes events in Barrie. I started autocrossing in 1980................
