View Full Version : What color lug nuts?

I want to upgrade my OEM chrome lug nuts to either black/red/gold tuner nuts but can't decide on the color. My car is CWP Hatch with powdercoated OEM snowflakes... I'm leaning towards gold.

Any opinions would be great.

Pics of your car with the rims would help.
IMHO gold lugs would look horrible on any wheel.

Black would look the best, silver is not in your options but that would look good too. GL in your decision. :)

Yeah the tint looks extremely dark in this pic (not the best camera) but it's 22%.

If I were in your position I would paint the calipers. Then, based on your decision as to what colour you paint your calipers, I would suggest choosing lugs. I.e., if you go for red calipers, I would say red lugs.

Thanks for the input guys. I've going to paint my calipers black, but i thought with black wheels, black calipers, and black nuts that it might be too much black. I was thinking the gold might be a nice contrast, but i don't want it to be ricey.

Yay or nay.

I think you should go with silver or white Calipers (with a black mazda logo) and keep the chrome lugs or get black lugs.
