As a long time BMW owner, and having driven both at autocross, the answer is relatively simple:

The Audi is fast. Very fast. So is the BMW. The BMW when pushed will go a touch faster around corners, but it'll also bit you with oversteer if you're not careful. The Audi is docile when pushed too hard and will simply understeer. Simply a matter of preference and whether you want to hit that tree nose first, or sideways. :chuckle
