Hi

New here. 2002 Mazda 626 ES V6 2.5 USA Import.

I had just gone in to get some information about the 96k km service. Cars got about 81k miles on it so its due for the timing belt service. It was suggested by bro-in-law that works for Saturn in the states to might as well do the water pump and accessory belts at the same time. (getting a lot of squeeling from the belts now and then).

I happened to talk to Ali who was friendly enough, but vague on facts of what is covered until I asked for the 96k km service check list print out. Still walked out of there with a rough estimate, nothing exact. Did offer a car to use while mines in the shop.

Thought I would google about small mazda service shops and happened to run into the reviews on here. Needless to say, I dont want to deal with Ali and will try to find out the day he is not working. I've been reading about Jeff, Rob and Vincent who have gotten great feedback on here. How can I get in touch with the right person for my service requirements?

Thanks.

Any service history done on the car? I'll look into it for you.

I am actually the one that imported the car into Canada when I moved from Texas to Toronto back in 2005. I had bought it from a dealer in Texas as a used car early 05. The only thing i've done here so far is complete brake job at Canadian Tire and coolant resevioir change at an independants. Shall I private message you the VIN?

No the VIN won't help me since it's a U.S. vehicle. I'll forward you what is required to do your 96,000KM service.

BTW, I'm Joe from MOT.:)
